Though the house was full of people it was like a morgue, no one was talking to each other.... but had you walked in twenty minutes ago you would've thought World War Three was happening in the living room. Every since Ronnie and Josiah vanished it was always so damn tense Carter would flip out at the slightest provocation, Jace would randomly start crying, Dejon would just up and leave without saying a word, and Tay.... well he's the one I've been the most worried about, he's just had this lost look in his eyes ever since they showed us the security footage of Ronnie walking through the corner store the day he disappeared on the news. I looked over at Antwan who looked like he wanted to fight all five of us because he felt like we had given up on Ronnie and Josiah to a lesser degree because we weren't spending every single minute looking for them like he was. I looked down at my phone and saw that Vince had texted me, he had been back and forth between here and Cali ever since we found out that Victoria or somebody changed our parent's will and he's been trying to figure out what we could do legally to get our house back. Then I saw a text from Baby Girl and got up, walking out the house without saying anything..... a few minutes later I was pulling up to Jasmine's house and Baby Joker was sitting on the porch wearing his usual outfit; a white beater, some jean shorts, and a skull cap, knowing damn well he had to be freezing.
"Leave that door open...." He said as I walked up to the house, I knew he was talking about Jasmine's bedroom door but that was still better than when I almost got caught sneaking out the house a few months ago. I walked into the house, said wassup to Jasmine's family and went up to her bedroom where she was laying on the bed.
"How are you feeling Baby Girl?" I asked rubbing her feet, she was still recovering from her time in the hospital but she was looking a lot better.
"I'm tired.... but I'm also tired of sitting in this room. My dad pretty much refuses to let me leave until I can walk down the stairs without my chest and legs hurting so I've been confined to my bedroom." She said letting out a low sigh. "Did you bring my food?" Jasmine asked and I looked at her confused.
"Jas.... you didn't say anything about food, you said 'Baby I miss you' that's it...." I said smirking.
"Yeah, but you should know that when I text you I miss you, that really means bring me a fuckin Baconator and some Sweet Baby Ray's Barbecue sauce." Jasmine said rolling her eyes. "Any word on Ronnie yet?" She asked and I shook my head.
"Nah but Devin said he had people looking..... I'm just worried about my bro and I'm worried about my girl." I said still rubbing her feet. Jasmine didn't say anything but I could tell she was getting sleepy so I crawled into bed next to her and started singing to her quietly, this is not how I wanted my year to start off but I promise by the end of the year it'll be better than it started especially with this tour coming up, hopefully by then everything was better or else................
