Dejon 91

I had finally moved the rest of my stuff into De'Marcus..... my new house, thankfully I didn't have to do much since Devin took care of most of it; I walked around the house feeling a mixture of both sadness and happiness, the sadness came from the fact that I was going to be able to be around my brothers but the happiness came from being able to have a place of my own. De'Marcus was at work so I was pretty much free to do whatever I wanted, my initial plan was to go see my bros but I wanted to wait until a little later because knowing them; Carter and Valentino were out ripping and running the streets, RonRon I knew was with Black, and more likely than not Tay and Jace were fucking. After thinking for a few minutes a text came through my phone and I figured out what I was going to do to pass the time until De'Marcus got off; after taking a quick shower and getting dressed I was out the door and I'm not going to lie it felt weird not having to sign out whenever I wanted to leave or check in with anybody but it was something I would get used to.

I saw her before she saw me, she was flirting with the waiter how I'm not going to lie was kinda cute if you were into milk... damn I guess I picked up on some of Jace's lingo in all the years that I've known him; I guess I took a little piece of all my brothers with me when I moved out. I approached the table and she looked up at me and smiled, obviously surprised that I even showed up but we were working on our relationship and I knew it took effort from both sides.

"You look good Dejon.... I told you that Miami sun does your skin good." She said smirking. "How was your vacation?" She asked as I sat down across from her.

"It was coo.... I had a lot of fun but now that I'm back I gotta get on my shyt, I still have yet to apply for college but I still got a little bit of time." I said picking up the menu.

"Why are you procrastinating? Dejon one of my biggest regrets in life was waiting so long to go to college, I mean I don't regret following my dreams to be an actress but going to college has always been on my list of things I wanted to accomplish and the longer you wait the harder it is for you to take that first step." She said and I nodded.

"I hear you mom and I'll get right on top of that sometime this week....." I said in a non-committal voice. "So what was that when I walked in? You had that little dude blushing hard as fuck." I said looking at her and she started laughing.

"Nothing, it's something I picked up in my all my years of traveling... you can tell a lot about someone by how they treat their waiters/waitresses and I know how hard it is to be a food server so I always try to make whoever is serving my food smile. But I didn't invite you here so that we can talk about me I wanna learn more about you...." She said and we spent the next two hours just talking about random things and life in general. We agreed to meet up sometime next week so that we can continue building our relationship since De'Marcus still wasn't off I figured I'd go check on my bros.

"See what you're not going to do is coming for me like I won't drag you from here to there, like I won't drag you everywhere, I will drag you on a plane, I will drag you on a train, Dr. Suess type of tease.... Siri way is this bitch testing me (I don't know how to respond to that) see even Siri confused." Jace was saying as I walked into the living room.

"Man, what the fuck are y'all arguing about now?" I asked walking into the living where Jace was sitting across from Idris and for some strange reason they were Mahjong.

"Because Ikea thinks that because he's new I won't drag his ass.... he needs to learn the rules of the house that everyone has to let me win because I'm a sore loser and when I lose I get bitchy. He better be lucky that he's the only person in this house that even knows how to play Mahjong otherwise I wouldn't even be socializing with the furniture. Anyways how the fuck you been sis, you look good... I'm so glad you upgraded from plastic to flesh because your skin is clearing up, your ass is getting fatter and you're a lot less angry." Jace said and I decided that it was better if I didn't respond so I got up and walked out back where Tay was jumping into the pool while Carter and Valentino sat off to the side talking quietly.

"Wassup y'all?" I asked sitting by the pool and looking at Tay, I could see it in his eyes he was still fuming over his altercation with the new dude.

"Ayy Dejon I was thinking.... maybe during winter break y'all could come out to New York to visit me instead of me coming back here, by then I should know my way around New York and I wanna spend the holidays with my bros. From what I've been hearing, you have to experience New Year's Eve in Time Square at least once." Valentino said and I shrugged.

"I'll have to see if De'Marcus has anything planned but you know I'm down......" I said looking at Tay who was still steaming, I was going to pull him to the side but before I could get the words out I heard a bunch of people laughing as they came around the side of the house. It was kinda awkward a group of five dudes staring at me, Tay, Valentino, and Carter; after our brief staredown they walked over to the pool and jumped in like they lived here.

"Umm excuse me.... I don't mean to be rude but I'm pretty sure none of y'all have signed the Liability Papers so that y'all can swim and Messy... I'm sure you haven't read the rule book but there's a sentence in there saying NO PETS ALLOWED IN THE POOL so you need to get Curious George out the pool posthaste." Jace said stepping outside wearing his bonnet and pointing to one of the dudes.

"YO MASAI! WHY THE FUCK IS THIS FAG TALKING TO ME?!?!?" The Curious George looking dude said getting out the pool and walking towards Jace, I noticed a couple things Tay started moving toward Jace and the dude but I waved him off, one of the dudes a dark-skinned one with dreads shook his head, and Masai seemed entertained by the whole situation. I got up casually and walked over to Jace and stood by his side.

"You're not going to touch him....." I said calmly and Curious George thought he was going to swing on me but he like some many others before him underestimated me.... I could've broken his jaw if I wanted to but instead, I settled for a chest shot that left him on the ground gasping for air. "Look this is a peaceful place.... and all Jace was trying to say was that if y'all are going to swim in the pool y'all gotta sign the Liability paper, Masai you really should try to make some friends here instead of trying to be a hardass." I said and the dark-skinned dude with dreads mumbled 'I told you'.

"Let's just sign the papers so we can get back to swimming because it's too damn hot to be out here fighting and carrying on." The dark-skinned dude said and Masai looked at him for a second before relenting, the dark-skinned dude lowkey reminded me of RonRon, not in terms of looks but there was something in his eyes that just.....

"You should've let me beat his ass." Tay said walking over to me.

"What good would that have served? Look I can tell this dude Masai is going to be a handful but give him some time and patience, try to get to know him...." I said and Tay looked at me like I was stupid. "Well if not him, then try the dark-skinned dude, he seems to be the most rational out of that group, if you make in-roads with him I'm sure Masai will come around....." I said about to say something else but I noticed Valentino talking on the phone his face solemn but I could tell he was trying his hardest not to laugh so I walked over to him and stood there wondering what was going on.

"I'm sorry to hear that Victoria.... I know me and Montez didn't get along but a car accident.... that's fucked up. Look I'm not in Columbus right now but when I get the chance I'll come and see you." Valentino said hanging up as a smile formed on his face. "Montez died tragically in a car accident this morning.... I guess I'll go check on my sister sometime next week but I would appreciate it if y'all didn't let people know I was in town. I gotta head back to my hotel." Valentino said walking off with a little pep in his step, I looked at Carter and could tell he knew something more to the story but he wasn't going to say anything and I really didn't care because Fuck Montez.... After chillin with my bros I went back home where De'Marcus was waiting, he must've just gotten home because he usually was walking around him his briefs or some shorts.

"Where you been Youngblood?" He asked moving in for a kiss, I filled De'Marcus in on my day and all he could do was laugh because we had a bet that I would end up getting into some trouble within the first month of me living here. "I don't blame you though Youngblood if that nigga wanted to swing then whatever happens afterward is on him.... but here this was in the mail for you. I'm about to go take a shower.... so once you're finished reading that come join me." He said handing me something and I was kinda surprised because I had yet to legally change my address so I wasn't expecting any mail. I looked at it for a second and figured whatever it was could wait until later because I was always horny after a fight and the hint De'Marcus had just dropped let me know that he was feeling the exact same way...........
