Every second I was here I regretted my decision if it wasn't my annoying ass brothers, then it was dealing with the fact that my mom was dating my damn math teacher. Free wasn't too bad but that nigga Landon.... I think we've fought like six times and I've been here a few days, damn I couldn't wait to get back to Brittany Hills because I was over this shyt. I was going back tomorrow and this little break was exactly what I needed because it put a lot of things into perspective considering me and Jace's relationship.... yeah, maybe I was a little too possessive and he was a free spirit so I needed to back off some and let him do him without getting jealous. As I was packing my bag Landon walked into the room and sat on the bed and stared at me, his dumb ass was under the impression that I wanted Taj back and I was going to let him think that because it gave me some insight into his personality, little did he know however I would never be with someone who fucked my brother; besides Jace was a trillion times better than Taj at literally everything.
"You finally leaving?" Landon asked and I just sat there staring at him because it was honestly pointless to keep arguing with him every single day and after a while you get tired of beating the same person's ass day in and day out. "Good because I'm tired of looking at you." Landon said and I closed my eyes and counted to ten because this nigga was really testing my twelve steps.
"Nigga this is MY mom's house and trust and believe if I really wanted to make you leave it would be easy as fuck but since I know that if you leave Free will leave as well, I'm allowing you to stay because I actually like Free. But don't get it twist bro.... this is and will always be MY HOUSE!" I said looking at him.
"Whatever Quantavius...." Landon said.
"Landon if you're insecure about me being around because of Taj that's on you..... I don't want that nigga what you need to be concerned with is Taj and you need to ask yourself 'why out of all the niggas in the country did Taj pick me?' because I can guarantee that it has nothing to do with your looks or personality.... the only reason Taj is with you is because he still has feelings for me and he thinks that by fuckin you it's hurting me when that couldn't be further from the truth." I said grabbing my bag. "Landon despite all the fighting and arguing we do... you're still my brother and I truly hope that you find a nigga or chick that actually likes you for you." I said walking out.
"I'm glad you're finally coming home.... it's been hell being there without you, Jace has been, if possible even messier than usually and you're the only person who can reign him in." Dejon said as I got into the car.
"Sorry to disappoint you big bro, but being away from my Shorty has give me some clarity... the reason we haven't been the same is because I didn't let him be him, so instead of reigning him in I'm going to let him be himself.... so it may be a good thing that you're leaving so you don't have to deal with him." I said jokingly. "How was your Chicago trip?" I asked and Dejon started blushing.
"Bruh I had so much fun.... De'Marcus that nigga is crazy, but I had a good ass time is it bad that I'm ready for another trip though? Miami can't get here fast enough." Dejon said and I couldn't help but agree.
"Is that new dude coming with us?" I asked and Dejon shrugged. "I hope he does, I mean he's part of our family, even if we don't know him like that what we have at Brittany Hills is a brotherhood that everybody who comes through their share with each other." I said and Dejon nodded in agreement. "Except white boy Tommy.... I hated that nigga." I said laughing and me and Dejon reminisced on all the dudes that came in and out of our home.
We pulled up to the house and Jace ran outside and jumped into my arms, I swear having little to no contact with him for the past week had been torture but now that I was home all of that was over and done with and there was only one thing on my mind at the moment. I carried him into the house with his legs wrapped around my waist and before we could get to the stairs Carter's ol'cockblockin ass had to interrupt us.
