|Cassie|
My upper lip and eyebrows couldn't take anymore. In fact I'm pretty sure I started to feel and taste the blood, but the makeup personnel kept reassuring me that wasn't real blood I was tasting, but my mind picturing it psychologically.
On the other hand, which actually literally the other hand, a lady was giving me a french manicure that she promised would match my dress perfectly. I actually believed those lady instead of the one stripping the hair off every part of my face.
"Make sure her makeup looks flawless and effortless." I heard Angie say to the makeup lady ripping hair from my face. "Also that she learns how to walk in heels properly."
By the tone of Angie's voice I could tell she was stressed. Maybe I should also be stressing out more than one actually stressing out. Im not the one everyone should needs to be focused on, that's every other celebrities job. Instead I'm just going as Williams plus one who happens to be his lover.
"Miss Gray?" It was a male voice this time that echoed from the doorway. "Someone named Clarke is calling you, should I answer it?"
"Put it on speaker," I said to the man.
"Cassie!" Clarke yelled from the other line, yet none of the ladies working on me even flinched. "You're gonna be on the Yearly Awards carpet right?"
"I'm guessing that's how it works." I said, the man kneeled besides me holding the phone to my face.
"My sister is gonna be on live television!" She squealed. "Everyone gonna want to be your friend when you get back. We might actually become the most popular kids in school can you believe that?"
Even though I'm not stressing over the awards show, doesn't mean I want to think and let alone talk about what my life is gonna be like at school. "Hey, Clarke I'm gonna call you back later, this lay is ripping our my eyebrows."
The man hung up once Clarke said goodbye.
"Ow." I quickly brought my finger to my lip, staring at the lady holding the string of pain and torture.
"Sorry." She smiled.
I glared before moving my hand away for her to complete this whole plucking out every hair on body thing.
It was at least forty-five minutes before the makeup artist came into the room, sat me at the chair in front of the vanity, and sorted through the makeup they used yesterday.
"Do you mind if I call my sister?" I asked the one with short pitch black hair that had a fading blue strip right above her eye.
"Of course." She smiled before handing me my cellphone which was sitting just out of reach from my grasp.
"Cassie!" Clarke delivered right when she picked up.
"Hey Clarke." I smiled even though she couldn't see me. Even when it's been a couple of days, I still felt comfort hearing her voice.
We talked the entire time my makeup was getting down. The exact same as yesterday except this time they went with a more sparkly eye shadow that reminded me of snow. I was forced to hang up on Clarke to go get dressed, but I did promise her and exclusive set of pictures of William and I so she wouldn't have to screenshot it and Photoshop the watermark out of the photo, which I'm pretty sure is somewhat illegal.
