Chapter 22:

"Hey~! It's our old friend Jungkook."

Jungkook scowled and looked at him with disgust.

The boy from years ago grew to be handsome and tall, using that to play with girls hearts carelessly. His dyed brown hair was messy and he was somewhat built.

"Hey shouldn't you greet me back? I'm older than you."

"Hello." Jungkook said respectfully.

"You been hanging out with... uh what's her name..." He refrained from calling her ugly duckling. His friend snickered a bit.

"Hyejin." Jungkook said sternly. "Her name's Hyejin."

"That's right! You remembered her name after all these years eh? But then again~ you work with her don't you?"

Jungkook didn't say anything. Surprised he knew.

"It's good I bumped into you," The dude said. Otherwise known as Jisoo, "Guilt has been eating away at me these past few years and I want to apologize to her."

The other boy, Taejoon, held a snicker.

"I don't think she wants to see you-"

"And what makes you think that she wanted to see you?" Jisoo shot back, "Just let me go apologize to her man."

Jungkook sighed and thought about it hard for a moment. "Fine."

Hyejin, forgive me.

Jungkook knocked on her door for a second and Hyejin opened it. Hyejin waved until she saw the two that followed him. Her smile quickly faded.

"It's okay Hyejin. They... they just have something to say to you." Jungkook said.

Hyejin still wasn't happy. She was rather unhappy with Jungkook.

Though all those memories flooded back in seeing their faces, and she held Jungkook's arm, and he was surprised until he saw her eyes.

"Hey Hyejin." Jisoo said. "I-We. We just wanted to say sorry for our previous actions. But we're changed men."

Hyejin just stood there, holding Jungkook's arm.

"And like, do you forgive us?" Jisoo said.

Hyejin didn't know what to say. She sighed.

"Jungkook!" He heard Bang PD call him for some reason, which was rare.

"Y-Yes?!" Jungkook said.

"Come here for a minute!" He said.

He looked at Hyejin who had 'Don't go' written all over her face, and she gripped his arm tighter shaking her head.

"It'll just be for a moment Hyejin. I swear I'll be right back." Jungkook said, "And if any of you touch her... I swear..."
