Alex's pov
Ugh, where in the world could it be? I thought to myself as I dug through my suitcase.
"Johnny?" I called.
"Y-yeah?" He stumbled out of the bathroom, almost falling and blushing lightly as he caught himself. I chuckled at his clumsiness.
"Have you seen my laptop? I swore I left it on my bed!" I said, lying on my stomach and checking underneath both beds.
"No..." He said suspiciously, drawing out the word. I turned to him and squinted my eyes.
"Johnny, where is it?" I asked him again.
"I don't know what you're talking about, Lex. Maybe, you left it with Laf and Herc?" He teased, giggling while backing away slowly.
"John, give it to me right now." I said, trying to stay strict.
"Mm...no." He said, swiftly jumping towards the door and running down the hall.
"Get back here right now!" I screamed, running after him.I made it into the hallway just as I saw the door to Herc and Laf's room swing closed. I rolled my eyes, sighing deeply. I marched down the hall and knocked on their door. Lafayette answered.
"Bonjour, mon ami. What can I do for you on this fine day?" He giggled, Herc holding in his laughter in the background.
"I'm looking for John, I know he's here." I said, walking in.
"I hate to let you down but," he paused and tried to cover a laugh with a cough, "he doesn't seem to be here." I gave him a look, to which he smiled.Bang!
"Ow, son of a bitch!" I heard John swear from under a table. Herc burst out laughing, his lover doing the same.
"Really John?" I asked, trying to hide my giggles. He clutched my laptop in his arm while rubbing his head.
"Oops..."
"Babe, give it to me. You know I've got important work to do." I said.
"Like...?" He asked, drawing out the word.
"Well let's see...calculus homework due tomorrow, a history essay, an assignment for ASL, and most importantly, an English Arts assignment in which I must write a 2000 word article about poverty in different parts of the world." I said, crossing my arms in a proud way. John frowned as he let his shoulders droop, giving me puppy dog eyes.
"...okay, here ya go..." He said as he handed me my laptop, clearly upset. I smiled and kissed him on the cheek.
"Thank you!" I said cheerily. "See you guys." I waved Herc and Laf goodbye as we walked back to our room."Alex, why do you have so much work? We're never gonna get to hang out at this rate." John sulked as we walked into our dorm.
"I have to keep my grades above an 85 in each class in order to stay in this college. I know I seem really busy, but I promise I'll make time in my schedule for us. Lots of time." I said giving him a reassuring smile. I sat on my dorm bed, propping myself up against the wall and resting my laptop on my legs.
"C'mere." I said to John, reaching my hand towards him like a toddler. He smiled and laid next to me, snuggling close and resting his head on my shoulder. His hair tickled my neck and chin as I kissed his forehead and began to work.Wow I haven't updated in a long time.
I'm so sorry readers, I've been pretty busy with school stuff and I haven't been able to write in a while. Once school ends in about two months, I should be able to write more.
