Astrid POV
I was alone though I didn't feel alone. It felt like everyone only hung around me for my fighting skills, but I knew that wasn't true, though deep down I felt like it was. (AN: ps there was no dragon war, oh and I hope you enjoy my book[I should have put that at book began]). I was on my bed it was night and Stormfly was asleep, I was waiting for the sun to come up and dragon training to begin. I didn't realize but I drifted to sleep.
Hiccup POV
I was waiting for my master and mentor to come and get me, I was meditating, as always (ps he is sitting on his knees when he meditates). In a short instant the door opened as if they knew I was ready to start the day.
"Good morning to you" my mentor Krogan cheerily stated to me, with that voice I knew he had some crazy training method up his sleeve, wait he doesn't have sleeves never mind.
"Quiet as ever my dear boy, you know I've always wondered why" he said to me in that voice that always confused me.
"It's just in my nature" I told him calmly, truth was I didn't know why I was always antisocial, and quiet, I wasn't good at connecting with people too, yet I would always cooperate with them. They didn't beat me or anything, this was my home, besides Dagur would come and get me if someone else didn't.
