Kione's POV
"WHERE ARE THEY?!" I shouted at one of the pack member who just happened to be close.
"Where are who, Alpha?" He asked startled. I groaned before dismissing him and continued my pacing.
Kurt and two of the pack warriors came with him to help search for Light, it has been an hour and a half since they left, leaving me alone to dwell on my thoughts.
What if something bad had happened to them? I know I would feel it through my sister and I's bond, though I can't still help but to worry.
Also, Kurt would have had mind linked me or anyone who he had brought with him for that matter if something had gone wrong.
I focused my enhanced hearing outside the packed house for any sign of their return.
Listening to the sound of the pups playing, mothers talking, and some of the warriors training, none of them hinted the return of Light and the others.
My worry for my remaining family increased as seconds ticked by. The urge to go and find her myself overwhelming my senses.
As the last of my remaining patience thinned, I was ready to storm out of the pack house when I heard a familiar small, high pitched voice followed by a deeper one.
I ran out of my office and out the pack house in record time, the sight of my sister at the back of one of the warriors brought an immense relief to my whole being.
Examining her from head to toe, Looking for any signs of injuries, I hugged her tight, relishing the feeling that she's alive and no harm had come upon her.
I carried her down Ray's back, the wolf who had brought her to the pack house.
"Where were you? I was so worried, you almost gave me a heart attack!"
I saw Light's eyes glistening with unshed tears "I-I'm s-sor-sorry, Kione"
I pulled her into a hug again whispering soothing words, "it's okay, the only thing that matters is that you're okay"
Looking around I noticed that Kurt and the other warrior named Tom was nowhere to be seen.
"Ray, where's Kurt and Tom?" I asked him when he was finished putting a shorts after he had shifted.
"They're on their way, Alpha. They made sure to keep a good distance between Light and I because they have a rogue with them"
My eyes harden when I heard what he said. Rogue. Just hearing that word brings back the memories of rogues attacking our pack.
"Ray, do you mind bringing Light to her room?" I ordered him discreetly.
"Of course not alpha" he took a hold of Light's hand and brought her inside.
I stood outside the pack house mind linking Kurt, "Head to my office immediately after you bring the rogue to the interrogation room"

Hey owls!!! I know I haven't been active since I left to go to a vacation, It has been really busy and I missed y'all ♥️♥️
I'm so sorry for the late update and I'm not gonna promise anymore when I can or would update because I don't know, but I'll try my hardest to write every week, or once every two weeks 😊
OH AND THE IMPORTANT THING IS! Should I unpublish this story until I finish it or Do you want me to just update this story when I have the time?
Also I'm thinking about changing the title of this story since I kind of had a new idea for this. What do you think? Should I or Should I not?
