Jiyoo's POV

I woke up with a totally different environment. I looked around and realised that the room is empty, I sat up and realised i'm in the hospital room.

I got up and walked outside.

I have some coins with me at the moment so I walked to the vending machine and bought a bottled water because i'm healthy.

Pssh.

I got back to my room to see Jia in a panic mode. I walked to her and she hugged me which is really freaky and weird.

" I thought you're gone ! " She said and I looked at her weirdly. She sniffed and I realised that she's crying.

After she've calmed down, I found out what exactly happened to me.

On the night that I fell ill, my fever rose to 40 degree and no one realised until it's dawn. Jia only found out when I didn't wake up for school when i'm usually the first to wake up.

" I'm fine now, don't worry ! " I said, trying to reassure her that I am a healthy woman and I am well now.

The door suddenly opened and we saw Seungmin and Felix walking in.

" Oh , Jiyoo-ah, are you feeling better now ? " Seungmin asked and I nodded with a smile. I looked over at Felix and he looked away.

After a little while, the doctor came in to take my temperature and he told me that I am able to discharge tomorrow.

Yas.

" Oh , Your mom passed this to me. " Jia passed me a letter and I rolled my eyes. What happened between my mom and I is pretty simple.

My mom re-married after she divorced my dad. I was pretty much hated by my step siblings and she knew that but she side with my step siblings instead and reprimanded me.

Despite the fact that I am her biological child, she would always bring those step siblings out and get them whatever they want while me on the other hand got a god damn scolding.

Without even reading the letter, I threw it in the bin.

" It's from your mom ! " Jia said as she pointed at the bin and I rolled my eyes.

" It's probably about how she wants me to move back home to live with her and her little family. " I said as I walked back to the bed and sat down, leaning against the bed head.

" But she's your mom. " Jia said, wanting me to read the letter. I sighed as I took it out from the bin and read through it.

I am so darn right.

She wants me to move back with her step family and said that they agree to treat me better which is a lie because she said that a thousand of times but they didn't.

" I'll go get some food. " Seungmin said and Jia followed him to the cafeteria. Which means that only Felix and I were in the room.

" Sup. " I said and he flinched.

" It's weird how quiet you are. " I said and I chuckled. He stared at me in silence and it's getting really awkward.

" I'm sorry. " He said and I was stunned.

" For ? " I asked and he looked up again.

" If I didn't leave you alone at the amusement park and I was there with you, I would have found out that you're feeling unwell. " Felix said, feeling bad.

" Dude, it's not your fault. I told you that i'm fine with you going with that girl. " I said and he sighed.

" But- "

" The only but that you should do is to sit your butt on the couch. " I said and he sat back down.

" I'm healthier than ever , aren't I ? " I smiled and he sighed. I rolled my eyes as I walked to him and sat beside him on the couch.

" I am fine, don't feel bad about it Felix. " I said and he sighed before nodding his head.

Just then, Seungmin and Jia came back and they shot us a teasing look. I glared at them and threatened to throw them out of the window.

Jokes , i'm not so mean.

" We bought food ! " Jia said as she placed all of them on a table that is provided by the hospital. Not the small ones but those big ones.

We sat around the table and shared the food.

As we were sharing, the door opened and oh my god. I just lost my appetite and felt the need to puke out everything that I've consumed.

Fakers.

I rolled my eyes as I was about to walk past them, she grabbed my arm.

" I'm older than you, you should show me the respect that I deserve. " She said and I rolled my eyes as I sneered.

" First of woman, older than me by a few months means that we don't have to call each other using those respectful terms. Moreover, do you deserve my respect ? " I asked and she was furious.

" You- " She looked behind me and blushed.

I turned around and realised what she's blushing at. She's looking at Felix and Seungmin as if she saw two pieces of meat.

" Leave my friends alone woman. " I said and she rolled her eyes before dragging me out of the room after smiling and winking at Seungmin and Felix which is really ew.

" Mom wants me to come here to ask you to come and live with us. " I yanked her hand away.

" Tell her, no way I am going back to live with you and your little family. " I said before walking away but she grabbed my hand.

" I don't want you back either but mom wants you to. She is willing to give you whatever that you wa- "

" Look , I don't want to go back there regardless of what deals we exchange. I don't want to go back there and being hated by you guys. I want to stay in my dorm. " I said before walking back into the room, locking the door.

" Who's that ? " Jia asked.

" Stepsister. " I said and she nodded.

" She's pretty, no wonder she's your stepsister and not your sister. " Felix said and I glared at him while shoving food into my mouth.

" What's her name ? " Seungmin asked.

" Hanuel. " I said and he nodded.

" Are you really not moving back ? I mean your family is filthy rich, you have a good environment to live in. " Jia said.

" Sure, getting hated by family is the best environment to live in. "
