Home
For the longest time we believe home is where we live, eat, sleep, breath
But what is home?
They say home is where the heart is
But where is my heart?
My heart is not at what they call my home
It so, so far away
Running free down beaches
Exploring night markets
Having conversations in a multitude of diffrent tongues
Far, far away from my clothes strewn floors and messy bed
You never realise where home is until you are no longer there
For all you know the home where your body resides is
Thousands of miles across vast oceans from where your heart is
You never realise where home is until you are no longer there
Home
For some it is the place where you kick off your shoes and laze in front of the televison
For others
It may be where adventure calls in a land so,so far away
It may not be where your from
Or where your family is
It is simply the place you left your heart behind
It's the place where your heart soars
And you feel alive
At least
Thats what home is to me
A place
Where I feel
Free
Happy
Never alone
And never bored
Thats
Home
For home is not nesaceraliy at home
It could be a person
Or a place so very far, far away
Home is not a place
Merely a feeling
One that wraps around your body like a warm cashmere scarf
One that makes you feel you belong
And the place at the end of the day,
you will always return to
That is home
