Description

She walked in, each leg matching after each other. She laughed at something I could not figure out as she held onto her phone tightly, with a smile displaying on her face. The moment she raised her head to take the wine passed across her table, I was mesmerized by the blue sea eyes. Blame it on her beauty, and her fair glowing skin, every guy would be captivated just like I did. But there is just one thing, a commoner shouldn't fall in love with a princess.

Tell me what you can say about the lady and the guy?

Lady first
1) She has a blue sea eyes
2) She's beautiful
3) She's fair in complexion
4) She's a princess

The Guy
1) He's a commoner

Now you see how description is important. Without her telling us, from the way the guy described her, we've been able to know a little bit about the lady.

This description is from one of my books which is not on Wattpad.

The princess is so beautiful, with her fair glowing skin. She walked in, took her seat, laughing at something I don't know about. When she raised her head to take the wine passed across by her table, I immediately fell in love with her blue sea eyes. But there is just one thing, I'm a commoner.

Now tell me, which one will you go for?
The two description are both saying the same thing, but they are both different.

Now this is what I'm trying to say, when it comes to describing someone, or something, take your time. You can't afford to write it anyhow. You can write a description and still doesn't look like you're describing a particular thing.

You need to get into your readers head. Let them see it. Let them feel it. Let them imagine it. Let them point it out.
