Chapter 5

i spent hours in my pool, thinking about Kayley and Arizona. I got her a bunch of Arizina tea fir her trip.I laughed at the thought. I got onto one of my floats beds and texted Rachel.

Ashton: How was ur date.

I had to wait a couple minutes for her response.

Rachel:gr8

Then i used my hands to my the float, so I could put my phone away.

I looked through my clear back door, seeing my mom on the phone. She looked serious. Maybe she was talking to dad, I thought . My dad is on a very long business trip to England.

He doesnt even know about my surgery. Speaking of that, I'm doing fine. I have a plasti bag over my boot. My doctor told me to swim in physical therapy.

.....

After I took a nice bubblr bath, my mom took me.out to ice cream. Weird.

She said this is very serious. She said July 6th.... What did she say.

"Mom? Whats July sixth?" I asked.

"We are moving." She paused, " To England."

Thats what the phone call was about?!?!?!?!

Someone pinch me.

And everything went black.

" Asthon." My mom said as she kept shaking me awake.

"We are moving to England?!?!" I yelled.

I was surprised she didn't tell me to be quiet. Wait a second. Im at home? Did i black out again? I didnt finish my icecream.

David's perspective...

I spent most if my June playing baseball and soccer with the guys. Jake really wasn't there most if the time because he was too busy. Too busy with Rachel.I haven't talked to Ashton in two weeks because i went camping in Arkansas. Then i went to Montana. I mean, I called her to let her know but.. we haven't hung out.

Are we dating? I thought as i kicked a soccer ball around my backyard. I guess so....

July 4th Ashton's perspective.....

I invited David to my barbeque. I also invited Rachel and Jake. But Maiya was in Colorado. So i already told her the news. Then she slipped it out to everyone on her contact list. The only one who didnt know about it was... David.

After we ate, I took David to my front yard, so we could sit under the tree.

"I have a confession to make." I said.

"Whatever it us." David said as he kissed me on the lips.

"In two days..... Im movingtoEngland!" I yelled super fast, "I didnt want to tell you at first but, This is too late." Just looking at his shocked face made me cry.

"We can date over seas right?" He asked. Then I shook my head no.

"Ill write you though." I said. " My mom wont let me call."

"Skype?"

I shook my head no. Then as i leaned in to kiss him, but he got up and ran away. I couldnt help but cry. I looked up at the fireworks. There was one with a heart. That made me run inside. I ran to my bed and cried. Why me?!?!

   July 6th.....

I hugged Maiya and Rachel. And David? I thought. I started to cry as I went on the plane. Then I started to read the scrapbook they made for me.

David's perspective...

I ran to the airport. I checked the plane times to England. It already left. Im too late.
