Chapter 1

-SUMMERS POV-

**Hi. My name is Summer. I have dark brown hair that goes down to the middle of my back when it is curled (which is how I usually wear it). I go to school at Lincoln High as a freshman. Even though I am a freshman, I am very well known in my school. It's not like im a snob or anything. Actually I am the exact opposite. I am a very outgoing girl. I cheer at Diamond Cheer Elite (DCE) as the point flier for their level 5 team. I have been cheering there since I was about 4 years old. Today is my last day of school and I have a feeling this summer vacation is going to be epic.**

Mom (Michelle): Summer! Are you almost ready? Breakfast is ready and is getting cold!

Me: Comming! Give me 2 more minutes!

I just finished applying my makeup. I looked in my body mirror. I was wearing a summer dress from Hollister that was navy blue and flower printed. I also wore a belt pretty high up. It was a simple but cute outfit.

I then went downstairs and at my breakfast. After that, I headed to school. On our way, we (me and my driver Eli) picked up my 2 best friends, Ashley and Chloe.

Ashley: oh my gosh! You just look adorable!

Me: why thank you! You look pretty cute yourself! (She was wearing dark jean shorts, a hot pink tank top with some black design on it, and a black leather jacket with her sleeves rolled up to her elbow)

Ashely: Thanks! I thought this would be a good outfit for the last day!

Chloe: well it definitely looks good on you! I wish i had a body like yours!

I rolled my eyes at this. Chloe always thinks she is bigger than Ashley. They are seriously the same exact size.

Ashely: like mine?? You should want Summer's body! She has abs bigger than a lot of the guys in our grade!

Me: well if you want abs like these, join cheerleading again!

Ashley and Chloe quit cheer 2 years ago. They cheered for their grade-schools, not at DCE with me.

Chloe: nahh. That part of my life is over.

We then arrived at school. Chloe and Ashley went to their lockers (which were right next to each other) and i went to mine (which was on the other side of school). The first bell rang so i went to first hour. It was History. I was excited to see Alex. He cheered at DCE with me and was my best guy friend. I HAD to ask him what he was all doing this summer. I knew I would see him a lot this summer since we had practice twice a week and all.

Me: Hey Alex! How are you?

Alex: i am good! I'm glad its the last day. I am so sick of waking up early. So what are you all doing this summer?

Me: I'm moving to the other side of town on the beach so i will probably be tanning everyday and swimming. I really want to learn how to surf too. What about you?

Alex: that's cool. Your still going to school here right? And i know I'm going to Italy for 2 weeks. Me and Melony (his girlfriend of 2 years) will probably hang out everyday. Other than that. Nothing!

We were interrupted by our teacher who told everyone to be quiet. The rest of the day went by faster than what i had expected. Before i knew it, school was dismissed for the year!
