-Summer's POV-
I walked back to my house. I only had an hour to get ready. I quickly showered and straightened by hair. I also made a poof out of the front pieces of my hair. It was pretty big. But hey, it was the first practice of the new season. Go big, or go home. I wore my pink DCE sports bra and black soffees. To match my outfit, I put in a pink and black zebra print bow behind my bump. I looked pretty good. Alex came to pick me up since my parents were still at work. Alex was held back after kindegarten because he was very shy and didn't talk to any one, so he was the only one in our grade that could drive.
Me: HEY ALEX!! Did you get a new car?
Alex: Hey babe!
??: Hey Summer!
I instantly knew that voice. I whipped my head around.
Me: Hey Cody! Why are you here?
Alex: Harsh!
Me: No. Not like that!
Cody: Haha. I know what you meant. I ca-
Alex: He is going to the mall while we are at practice
Me: Ahh I see!
Alex: So Summer, what did you do today?
I looked back at Cody. I was surprised Alex didn't know. He nodded in approval.
Me: I hung out with Cody today.
Alex gave us both a look. This wasn't helping. He suspected that we both liked eachother. Well I kind of was falling for him, but neither of them needed to know that!
Alex: Hmm! Interesting...
Cody: Dude!
Me: You're crazy Alex. We just hung out. It was nothing.
-Cody's POV-
Summer: You're crazy Alex. We just hung out. It was nothing.
Harsh! Nothing? Did she seriously think it was nothing? Well maybe I have to show her that it isn't nothing. It was probably my goodbye that made her think we were just friends. If I would have hugged her like I was going to, she probably would have started to get the hint that I kind of liked her.
Me: Yeah. It was nothing.
I said that in a way that only Summer knew that I was sad by her response to Alex. She looked down, so I know she could tell that I was a little sad.
Alex: What did you two do anyway?
Me: I taught her how to surf.
Summer: Yeah! It was so fun! I didn't think I would be able to!
Alex: I'm surprised too Summer! You have pretty bad coordination.
Me: She did really good. She's a better learner than me!
Alex looked at me in the mirror. I could tell he knew I sort of liked her. I had to tell him I didn't though because I know they tell eachother most things and that it would get out. We talked a little bit more about our day and also Alex's day. We arrived at their gym. It was bigger than I expected it to be. Summer and Alex walked inside a door on the side. I could tell they were both excited to go.
-Alex's POV-
Summer and I stepped out of the car and went inside the gym. Half of the team was already there. We caught up with some of the people who were on the team last year with us. Practice started. I was thinking it would be a hard practice, but it wasn't really. We got to know eachother and did a few team building activities. We also worked a little bit on stunting. Summer was my flier usually, so our coach put us in the same group.
