Chapter 11

I walked over to my window and looked out. Down on the ground, Cody was there.

Cody: Have time to talk?

Me: Sure! meet me in back.

He started walking over there and I went downstairs and out the patio door.

Me: Let's go sit by the pool.

We did and both took our shoes off. He rolled his pants up to his knees and stuck his feet it the pool. I did that same.

Cody: So what did you think of tonight?

Me: Words can't even describe it.

Cody: In a good way?

Me: In a great way. I cannot believe you went through all that trouble just to tell me a secret.

Cody: I didn't know how to tell you. So, I did that.

Me: So what's it like being famous?

Cody: I love it. For the most part. My fans are amazing, but when I meet a fan, they just treat me like famous singer Cody Simpson. I didn't want that to happen again. So when I met you and you didn't know about it, I played along. I wanted you to get to know real Cody SImpson who is just a normal guy under all of this.

Me: I never thought that I would get close to someone famous, but now we are friends?

I wish it was more than friends, but it's not. I kind of think he wishes it was more than friends too.

Cody: Yeah. Please don't think of me any differently because of it.

Me: I promise I won't. You are still normal Cody Simpson to me. Unless we are at your concerts. Then I can be a fan, because your music is pretty darn good.

Cody: Haha. Fine by me! Thank you. You know that song that I sang when you were on stage with me?

Me: Yep. That is my favorite one.

Cody: Good. It was written about you.

He looked over at me and I was blushing. He really wrote a song about me? Seriously? This is awesome.

Me: That makes me like it even more. You are so sweet.

Cody: So are you. You went through all of those people staring and whispering. I think I would have freaked.

Me: I am surprised I didn't. So that explains why you were taking a picture with those girls and writing on their shirts....you were signing your name!

Cody: You saw that?

Me: Yep. You aren't very sneaky. Just saying.

Cody: Well I kept the secret from you, didn't I?

Me: For like 5 days. And 3 of them didn't even count because we didn't actually see eachother really.

Cody: Well whatever. I think I did a pretty good job.

Me: Haha. Yeah I you did. I cannot believe you got Alex to not tell me. He tells me almost everything

Cody: It took me a while to convince him.

Me: It was worth not knowing. What happened on stage tongiht was so cool. I loved it.

Cody: So did I. You looked beautiful.

He said I looked beautiful. Awesome. I couldn't help but smile. I officially like him. After 2 days of being together. Is that even normal? Does he know that I like him?

Me: Thank you. I wasn't going to look nice since I thought I was just going to be with Alex, but I am glad I decided to!

Cody: Fans came up to me afterwards and they kept telling me how cute we are and how pretty you were.

Me: Cute WE are?

Cody: Yep. As in together.

-Cody's POV-

Summer: Cute WE are?

Me: Yep. As in together.

I was trying to drop a few hints that I like her. I think she likes me too. After my response, I am pretty sure she said "I wish" under her breath, but I could be hearing things. Hopefully not. I looked at her and smiled. When I looked over at her, she was shivering.

Me: Cold?

Summer: Nah I'm good.

I took off my coat and put it around her shoulders anyways.

Summer: Thanks.

We talked for another 30 minutes. Yep. I am totally falling for her. Head over heels. She is so nice, sweet, beautiful, caring, trustworthy, and all around amazing. I don't think I could meet anyone better.

When she went inside, I slowly made my way to the front by my car. Tonight was one of those nights that I will never forget.

I got in my car and went home. I logged onto facebook and saw that I had a notification.

Summer Brooks said she was with you in a status update.

I looked at it.

Found out a BIG secret tonight that really surprised me. Thanks Cody for everything. It was a memorable moment that I will NEVER EVER EVER forget! -with Cody Simpson

I updated my status.

Tonight went just as planned. She loved it, and so did I. Thanks for being so understanding Summer. You are amazing. -with Summer Brooks.

I logged off and went on twitter. I had so many mentions, it was crazy. So, I just went to Summer's page and see if she said anything. She did.

Thank you so much Cody. You are a great friend. I promise you I won't forget any detail of tonight. @codysimpson @personalsimpson

I decided to retweet it on this twitter (his public one). Then, I went on my personal account and retweeted it also. Then I wrote:

Summer, thanks for understanding. You are so amazing, and don't ever forget that. I promise I will never forget any of it either. @summercheer143

After that, I texted Summer.

I put my phone on vibrate and went to bed with a smile on my face.
