I cannot believe he hugged me. I know I shouldn't really make a big deal about a stupid hug. I get millions of them every day. But when I hugged Cody, I don't know. There was something there I guess you could say. I entered my house and found a note from my parents telling me to call them.l

Hello? Mom?

Hi sweetie. How was your day at the beach?

Pretty good!

Your father and I went out to dinner. He wanted to celebrate our new house with me. Do you want me to bring you something home to eat?

No thanks. I will just find something here. You went shopping right?

Yeah I did. See you in about an hour and a half.

Bye! Have fun!

Thanks. Try not to burn the house down. Bye

I hung up the phone, sat on the couch, and instantly called Ashley and Chloe on a 3 way.

Chloe: Hey girlie!

Ashley: Hey guys! Whats up?

Me: OHMYGOSH

Chloe and Ashley: WHAT??

Me: Okay so at Alex's party I met this guy named Cody an-

Ashley: Cody as in the Cody by the campfire?

Me: The one you pulled me away from. That Cody.

Chloe: Guys did I seriously miss all this? Why didn't either of you tell me?

Ashley: Sorry hun. I really didn't think of it.

Me: Same. I didn't really think it was anything worth talking about. Anyways, we hung out today for like 2 hours.

Chloe: Did you do anything?

Me: Hugged. But that's it.

I could hear them both aww in the background.

Me: GUYS! It was just a hug.

Ashley: So! He was cute. I saw him!

Chloe: I didn't.

Me: It's okay Clo. Just trust us. He is pretty darn good looking.

Chloe: So what did you guys all do?

Me: We walked on the beach and talked the whole time. He saw me tumbling an-

Ashley: I'm sure he liked it! Guys are impressed by things like that.

Chloe: No they like it when girls are flexible.

Ashley: And tumbling. Did he think it was cool Summer?

Me: Yeah. He told me not to hurt myself!

Chloe: HE CARES ABOUT YOU! AHH!!!

Me: You bet!

Ashley: So are you guys hanging out anytime soon?

Me: Yep. Tomorrrow after practice.

Chloe: You better tell us EVERY detail!

Me: Haha. I promise! Gotta go!

Ashley and Chloe: Byeee

Me: See ya!

I hung up my phone and went up to my room. I can't really get used to my new house. I still get lost sometimes. I decided to take a shower since I had nothing better to do. I put music on full blast and sang in the shower. I got out and put on some basketball shorts and a black tank top. I dried my hair and put it up in a messy bun. My parents wouldnt be home for another half an hour. What to do...

I quickly shut off my ringtone. I forgot i had it up that loud.

It was not a date. Way to give him my number and for telling him where I would be! How did you know anyways??

No problem! And there's this thing called twitter. Speaking of that... ;)

Are you following Cody?

Nope. I didn't know he had one. Why??

From: Alex

Well now you are following him. You know, you should really log off of things when your on my phone!

I know. I am a little forgetful! You didn't answer my question. Why?

I checked my twitter feed. I saw that I had a few mentions, so I looked at those first. On of them was from @Codysimpson.

Had a great time with @summercheer143 today. Go follow her. She's a great person :)

It took me a while to realize that it was Cody. I sent out a tweet also.

Its nice to have the beach in my backyard. Walks with @codysimpson are the best. Hes a good friend. :)

I secretly hoped he saw that and would smile.

It was getting pretty late. I decided to go to bed early. I went outside on my balcony for a little bit just to settle down. While I was out there, Cody texted me.

Hey. I had fun today! Thanks for spending time with me ;)

To: Cody

You're welcome! I can't wait for tomorrow. Do you know what we are doing yet?

How about dinner and a movie?

To: Cody

Sounds good. Im not going to look very good though.

I can't believe he said that he couldn't wait to see me. I'm sure I looked stupid grinning that big. It's a good thing that it's dark out so people couldn't see me. I went inside, updated my facebook status, and went to bed.
