Later after Michelle's ugly chat. School's bells were begging for me to come and open their confusing books.

"Pull your self together," I say to myself.

I sweep the floor with my feet and head to the library. Perfect.

I clumsily shift my way to a corner, and sit on the grotty floor tile.

As emo as it sounds, I stared into the darkness and started having an argument with my mind.

What was Noah doing at conference?
Not like he knows the whole town by just moving into here.

Michelle's leaving, what are you going to do?
I have no clue.
Keith likes you!
No he doesn't. He cheated, remember?
What did that smooch mean then?
I-
See he likes you! Maybe he had reason to.
Reasons to cheat? That's new?
What about Jasmine and Noah? I totally ship them to be honest.
You're supposed to be with me not against!
Oh come on, they're cute!
They are actually, my best friend and my arch nemesis dating. Cute.
Crystal come on!-

My thinking is cut off when a large thump gets heard, and by my shocked screams.

"Holy...," I gasp.

A carefully look over at the crystal that just fell from nowhere, landing on my head, and rolling over sideways on the floor, collecting its dust.

I swiftly slide to the crystal, with my butt probably becoming a new dust collection.

I tilt my head to the side and smirk.

Oh what the heck, Go for it.

I hurry over to the crystal and touch it, this time, knowing exactly what's going to happen, but clueless about where.

New York, July 12th of 2010:-
*******************************

I remember this day alright, the day Michelle bought me to New York for a presentation about popular cities in America.

As some of you may be wondering, why am I not still in my broken state?

Third time going through this, I guess it's pretty convincing that nothing can take me back once I touched it.

I take deep breathes, and try to forget my past incidents.

I wake up in a bed, which is in a room that was in a very country apartment complex.

Events of this day, still leave me curious about my other decisions.

"Ohhhh, crystallllll," Michelle sang," Uncle Davin made pancakes and I'm hungry as a cow!"

My mouth dangles open at a sudden thought....if I choose my decision wisely, Michelle might actually...stay?

I giggle at the memory but I have to make things right. This is the day that determines whether Michelle is going to be with me here or not.

I shot out of the bed and ran towards the stairs as fast as I could.

And then, it started.

"What did I tell you about breaking plates?!" Dave screams at her.

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to! Not like I'm going to break your precious belongings on purpose or whatever," Michelle brushes it off.

"First, speak in a good manner to me! Second, you will do that on purpose."

"You really wouldn't THAT to happen, do you?" Michelle challenged.

"You wouldn't dare do anything else, you're such a wuss, just like your father," he snapped.

"My father is a better man than YOU'LL ever be! You know why? Because he has always been a gentle man to everyone! Not a stupid pri-"

Her argument was interrupted by a hard slap coming in contact with Michelle's face . She looked at him venomously and I was watching the whole situation like a lost eagle.

That was the first time he'd ever lay a finger on her.

I spotted my phone across the counter and quickly grabbed it. I started dialing 911 when Michelle continued.

"I-" Dave opened his mouth to speak.

"Don't you dare even apologize!" She pointed at him, keeping her distance away from him,"

"Hello 911, what's your emergency?"

"That actually felt good," he psychopathically said.

"Hello! U-um yes, my friend is getting physically abused please send help!" I tried holding the phone with trembling hands and made sure I was out of sight.

He threw another punch into Michelle's tummy followed by her screams.

Seeing her case like that made tears fall out of my face.

"We have tracked the location. The cops are on their way."

"S-stop!" She shouts.

"I have to deal with your shit everyday! Ever since your parents got divorced and you've been another weight on my shoulder! Do you know how good it feels to let it out?" He pulls her hair and continues,"Being the daughter of the most loved sibling! I had no one! Don't you feel the pain now?" He slams her head into the counter.

I hang up the phone and throw it across the room and sprint to Dave.

"Don't. Touch. Her." I sternly warn.

He quickly threw a punch at me, making my fragile nose bleed, but then the sounds of the glorious sirens popped through the clear windows.

And everything went black again.
