Chapter 13: Reuntied

I gasp at the sudden dose of air that suddenly hit my nose.

This time, I actually start smirking at my accomplishment. I wonder how putting Dave under arrest would've affected the present.

The crystal should've vanished by now, but it's still there. Same where it stood before.

Call me insane, but I wanted to touch that thing again. To see what time has held for me.

I put a strand of hair behind my ear and once again, travelled through dimensions.

I believe this was the past. As crazy as it sounds. I don't think I'll ever get used to traveling in time.

I waited for a couple of minutes and to my horror, watching as Keith holding my smooth hand, into the bedroom.

This was the day the break up happened. It's time to handle situations more differently.

I put his face closer to mine and whispered as seductively as possible, "What do you think we're going to do?"

He bit his lower lip and muttered while lowering his head, "You have any ideas?"

I pushed him away and a tear slid down to my face, "Woah Crys, what's up with the mood swing?" He softly said while walking back to me, and putting his soft hand on my cheeks, wiping my tears.

"Why did you cheat on me, Keith?" My words made guilt wash his face, and showed me his true emotions, "W-with Kate?" My voice cracks.

"Crystal I would never!" Keith hurried to hug me but I backed away.

"Save your bullshit! I loved you Keith! How could you do this to me?" I screamed at him.

I burst out of the room crying and the sounds of my uncontrollable sobbing were heard by the country.

I stopped and turned around to back- face Keith, "We're Over."

"I'm not going to let those past events happen again," I say to myself, holding back my cries. I need to win Keith back.

"Say something!" I snapped at him and I saw his face bruising from the words the punched at him.

"Crystal Alex June, he grips on shoulders, "Look at me in the eye, and hear what I have to say," he sternly says and tightens his grip around my shoulders. My heart starts beating faster and faster, awaiting for what he has to say.

"I would never cheat on you. Especially on the things I love from the bottom of my heart. What even made you get that idea through your head Crystal?!" He snaps at me.

With trembling hands, I pull out my phone and slightly smile at the wallpaper, it was on our 1st year anniversary, with Keith and I in an ice cream parlor, licking the same strawberry ice cream.

"Each week for a couple of months, your side chick would send me photos of you and her kissing," I inhale deeply, "but the reason why I couldn't keep my sobs inside of me anymore," I reach for Keith's arm and dig my nails into it, " tell me the truth if you love me, Keith."

He snatches the phone out of my hand and horrifyingly reads the messages. Pft. Like it was his first time seeing it.

He lets out a chuckle and and his blazing green eyes start burning my soul. His laugh makes my heart skip a beat or 3, but I couldn't help but innerly smile at him, even though I'm still mad.

"Since when did I have red hair, Miss June?" He smirks at me.

"Stop fucking with me, Keith," I give him a death stare, and my breathe gets caught in my throat when realize that I didn't concentrate on the male.

I run to grab the phone from him and find out it's actually Nate, from biology class. Wait what? Why would Jasmine make out with a nerd who's "out of her league"?

"Why would she kiss Nate John though?" Keith asked, voicing my thoughts.

And then it clicked, well I guess for both of us because he looked at me with his mouth wide open, just like mine.

"Because Nate looks like you/me" Keith and I said in unison.

"You see what I mean when I said I loved you?" He genuinely smiled at me.

"I think I do," I jumped into his arms and started kissing his soft lips, while his arms snaked around my waist.

And once again, everything went black.
