You and Ryuji make your way down the beach. The waves fill you with nostalgia. It was just like this you and your friends would meet up at the beach and have a blast. Well... Mostly the girls but you did in somewhat way. Ever since the move, You've tried to keep in touch with your friends in Yongen-Gaya. Today, you've re turned in town just to see everyone, but you're taking time out to spend it with one special person, Ryuji. Lately, your mind kept thinking about the artificial blond. For some reason you couldn't get him out of your head so here you are.

"I miss you most days, man." Ryuji says. "Hard to admit but before you came along I didn't have many friends."

"That's not hard to believe."
"I wonder why."
>>"I'm glad we met then."

"Same here. Sometimes I don't know what I'd do without you around me or even if I met you. I'd probably end up gettin' my ass handed to me by Kamoshida and the track team." Ryuji forces a small chuckle.

"Anyway, this place reminds you of Hawaii doesn't it?" Ryuji asks.

"Not really."
>>"It does."

"Yeah it does for me too." Ryuji says. "I also remember when we tried to score chicks and ended up not getting any. You remember that right?"

>>"I do"

"I haven't had a girlfriend then and I doubt I'll have one now." Ryuji looks down. "I guess I'm just one of those guys no one wants...So what about you? Do you have someone?"

"I do actually."
>>"I have someone in mind."

"I hope she's hot." Ryuji says.

>>"She's just like you..."
"..."

You dont have enough guts to say this.

>>"..."

*growl growl*

Ryuji slowly clutches his stomach with a dorky grin on his face.

"I'm hungry man. Let's go get something from Big Bang Burger. I'm so hungry I think I could finish the challenge!"

"I doubt that..."
>>"I can beat you easy at that."
"Sounds fun, let's go."

Ryuji chuckles.  "That a challenge?" He asks.

Ryuji lays face down on the table, a empty plate in front of him. His stomach is full and he is too packed to move.

"Are you alright?" <<
"Ryuji...?"

"Yeah."

~Pi Pi Pi~

Ryuji looks up at you after looking at his phone.

"Oh... I gotta go."

"Are you sure you're okay?"
"..."
>>"Ryuji tell me what's up."

"Just... I heard my dad appeared at my house not so long ago. He was asking for me for some reason. I don't wanna effing see his face."

You lay a hand on his shoulder to comfort him.

"Please be safe."<<
"Be careful Ryuji."

Ryuji smiles. ~♪ ♪ ♪  "Thanks Akira. I have to go. I'll see you tomorrow."
