Chapter 19

"Kinzie there you are." Taemin greeted me as I walked back into the dorm. He came to give me a hug but I hurried away from him, sitting on the couch.

"Uh hey. I was just getting my things from unni's house." He gave me a puzzled look, but I just smiled at him.

"So Key told me the doctors called today." I nodded, "What did they say?" I clammed up but relaxed when he smiled. He obviously didn't know what happened.

"They just said I had a virus, like you said. I just picked up some medicine for it before I went to unni's." He nodded. I felt bad that I was lying to him, but he couldn't know what was going on. He out his hand on mine and gave it a squeeze.

"Well I'm glad my cupcake will be OK. I was starting to worry about you." I pulled my hand from his and nodded.

"I uh, I think i'm gonna hit the hay." I said, my voice higher than usual. His eyebrows scrunched together but he didn't question it.

"OK, goodnight baby girl." He kissed my forehead and I scurried away, flopping onto the bed and pulling the covers so they were completely covering me. I sighed and let the earlier tears return.

Tae's P.O.V.

"What the hell?" I muttered to myself as Kinzie ran up the stairs and into my room. She was acting weird and I didn't know why. I saw Key walk into the room and I decided I should ask him what's wrong.

"Was that Kinzie I heard?" He asked as I sat on the counter. I nodded and he threw me a bottle of water. I took a sip and sighed.

"Yeah she was acting really weird." I saw his gaze fall to the floor, confirming that he knew something was wrong, "what happened?"

"What did Kinzie tell you the doctor said?" He asked, ignoring my question.

"She told me that they said she had a virus." He shook his head and turned his back to me, "That IS what's wrong with her isn't it?"

"No Taemin it's not." he turned back to face me, "Kinzie is pregnant. She told me not to tell you, but I can't keep this from you. She went to the store to get a pregnancy test and it came out positive, just like the doctors test." Time seemed to stop. My stomach turned to a hunk of ice and a gasp escaped my throat.

"I'm sorry you found out like this. Kinzie was supposed to tell you, but that obviously wasn't going to happen, so I had to." I felt hurt. How could she not tell me? It's my baby too. I couldn't believe how selfish she was being. The hurt I was feeling was soon replaced by anger, and I was soon stomping up to the room.

"Kinzie, you have two seconds to explain yourself." I ordered as I burst into the room, the door slamming against the wall in my haste. She sat up, wide eyed, but soon realization covered her face.

"Taemin I. I couldn't." She choked out. I felt my blood boil and I delivered a punch to the wall.

"Why the hell would you keep something like that from me?" I screamed. Fear flashed in her eyes.

"Taemin, I didn't want you to worry." She said weakly. I put my face close to hers.

"I would've found out sooner or later, so why lie to me? Do you understand how much you've broken my heart because of this?" She closed her eyes and turned her head to the side.

"Taemin, I never wanted to hurt you."

"Then why?" I yelled, causing her to flinch.

"Because you are a fucking celebrity.You have to deal with concerts, schedules, and screaming fans. You don't need the dead weight of a baby to add onto that!" She screamed back, running her hands through her long hair. I stood there speechless.
