Chapter 24

"Kinzie! I'm going to go to the market to buy some groceries, do you want to come?" A few seconds after Tae stops talking, he peeks his head into the room.

"Do you want to go baby?" He asks me again.

"Um yeah. Just let me get dressed." I say, slowly moving to get off the bed.

"Okay. I'll get Tyler ready then."

Tae's POV

I leave the room to let Kinzie get dressed in private and head down the hall to Tyler's nursery. I grab the diaper bag from the floor and put a few diapers and wipes in, along with a few bottles and the can of formula.

"Hey baby," I smile as I walk up to his crib and reach in to pull him out. "Wanna go to the market with mommy and daddy? Yeah? Wanna go shopping? How about we get you changed first."

I carry him over to the changing table and lay him down. He coos at me while I undo the buttons of his onesie and pull it up and over his head. I change his diaper quickly before picking out a simple outfit for him. Another onesie, this one grey, with a zipper from his ankle all the way up to his tiny collar bones. I pull the sleeves down to his wrist and pull the hood up over his dark hair. He wriggles around on the changing table and looks around the room curiously.

"Ready?" I lift him back up and put the carrying seat in his place. I strap him in and click the handle in place so I can lift him up. I sling the diaper bag over my shoulder before leaving the room.

Kinzie was walking out of our room just as I got to the stairs. I walk down a few and she comes up behind me.

"You get him dressed?" She asks.

"Yeah." I look up at her. She was taller because she was at the top of the staircase and I was one down.

"Nice job daddy." She smiles at me and leans down to give me a kiss, moving around me and walking down the stairs.

"Well okay then." I follow after her and she grabs the car keys as we head outside.

The air was chilly and cold, snow falling towards the ground and while we were still under the safety of the porch, I set Tyler's carrying seat down. I take my jacket off and cover him up, making sure he was warm and safe from being hit by any snowflakes before I walked him to the car, Kinzie jogging around to the other side. I buckle him in and jiggle the seat a bit, double checking and shut the door.

"Keys," I say shortly and Kinzie tosses them to me over the top of the car. "Thank you."

We both slide in and buckle our seatbelts, me starting the car and turning the heat on while Kinzie reaches over the center console to grab my free hand in hers.

"I love you Tae." She says randomly. I look over at her and smile, bringing her hand up to my lips and kissing her knuckles.

"I love you too baby girl." ~

Kinzie's P.O.V.

"Baby do you want to go on a date tonight? We can have the boys watch Tyler." Tae asked as he stepped into the room. I was playing with the baby on the bed and I looked up, giving him an unsure look, "please baby. We haven't just had a me and you time in a while. And Onew and Minho already said they'd be happy with watching the baby."

"I don't know Tae. I don't know how I feel about being away from my baby." I grabbed his small hands in mine and looked at his face, which looked so much like Tae's it was creepy. Tae kneeled down next to me and kissed my cheek.

"Come on baby, please." I huffed, but then smiled.

"Fine, but if my baby better be in good care." He smiled and kissed the baby's forehead.
