Old and new friends

New character^^ Ruby lee is played by Sara Sampaio

Beatrice.

I haven't seen her in so long. She used to be my best friend since we were in diapers basically. She probably hates my guts. I know for a fact she still hangs out with Maximus and Grey.

I was standing at the front of the classroom for a while now watching her, stuck. She finally looked up and when she saw me she gasped. My feet finally moved and I found a seat at the back of the classroom. She stared at me the whole way I walked there with a shocked look on her face.

I sat down with my hair covering my face. I don't know if I can do this. I'm so weak.

The teacher walked in and I started paying attention to her who I've learned his names Mrs. Walker.

"Alright class we have a new student, Corinna Wheeler, stand up and tell us about yourself". I heard teacher say from the front of the classroom.

Crap

I'm already nervous as it is. I look over at Beatrice and she's already looking at me with sad and angry eyes. Not that I can blame her.

I stand up slowly from my seat and looked around the classroom. Everyone was watching me, I could feel and practically hear my heartbeat getting faster. I didn't like all this attention.

"Uh m- my name is um Corinna and I uh like reading and um painting I guess". I said, I cursed myself for stuttering so much, god I'm so weak and stupid. I sat down quickly and looked down at the desk suddenly finding it interesting.

I heard chuckles around the classroom "what a weirdo" I heard from the front of the class. I saw Beatrice roll her eyes. Not sure if she rolled  her eyes at me or what the person said. Probably the second one.

"Alright class that's enough" the teacher, Mrs. Walker said clearly disappointed in her class for being rude.

I would have given her a grateful smile but I was just way to embarrassed to even look up from my desk so I just kept my head down.

I'm not some baby who's just gonna start crying all because someone called me a weirdo and I have people anxiety or whatever, but it's just embarrassing and kinda upsetting to think that people can be so cold hearted to just let a kid feel bad about themselves.

I may have been a reckless one when I was 15 but I was never a bully or mean to anyone. It a shame of what this society has become. It's why people commit suicide nowadays, people don't understand that little things hurt just as much as a big thing and they keep doing it repeatedly.

Ringgggggg

Was I really in my thoughts that long I didn't even listen to anything the teacher said and this class went by so fast. Wow.

As soon as the bell rang Beatrice was out of her seat and racing out the class. Probably avoiding me. Not that I would have talked to her. I can't.

I took my schedule out of the binder I was carrying and looked at it.

AP English literature. Boring class but beats being in the same room with Beatrice. To much guilt I feel around her.

I finally found the room and once again walked to the back of the class. I sat down and scanned the room. Luckily I saw none of the three people and I am going to try and avoid. I let out a sigh of relief.

Once the bell was just about to ring the door burst open and the bell rings.

"IM NOT LATE! I'm not late, I'm just gonna go in that seat over there." She pointed in the seat next to me.

"Just sit down Ruby" the teacher said rolling his eyes. She came over and sat next to me.

"Alright I had a long night and forgot to grade papers, so I'm gonna let you talk to your friends in the class while I grade them." The teacher said quietly.

Suddenly every walked around the classroom going to sit next to their friends. I noticed the girl named Ruby was still sitting next to me.

"Hi I'm Ruby Lee, you must be knew" she said to me while holding her hand out. She has bluish green eyes with brown hair. She basically resembles a model and is like a head taller then me, much like Beatrice.

"Um hi I'm Corinna" I said shaking her hand.

"So what class do you have next?" She asked. I showed her my schedule "yay we have next period and last period together, and obviously lunch." She said I was happy hoping I could get a new friend.

The rest of the class we just got to know eachother laughing and I started to get more comfortable around her. I also found out she doesn't have any friends because she's a 'freak'

The bell rang and we walked to honors calculus together. I walked in the classroom and froze when I saw Beatrice and Maximus. Beatrice looked like she wanted to tell something really important to him but he was goofing off like always. I missed him a lot, but he probably hates me and won't even try talking to me.

"Corinna you coming" said Ruby and the mention of my name called Max and Beatrice to freeze and look at me I saw Max gulp and he looked upset about seeing me. Can't blame him. Ruby chose a seat in front of them and I dragged my feet towards the spot she saved. There was seat next to Maximus that was empty so I sat in front of it while Ruby was infront of Max.

10 minutes later

The door burst open much to my surprise and made me jump, I heard Ruby try holding in her laughter so I hit her on the shoulder. I looked up and saw who opened the door and it was the...
