Chapter Fifty Six

"Cherī, how long are you staying?" Yuzu asked. Cherī sat across from the twins as they ate their ice cream.

"I don't really know. Maybe for a few more days. Why do you ask?" Yuzu's eyes sadden, her spoon in hand lowered.

"I miss having you around. You never come over when you come back to town, the only time we see you is in the magazine's that you are in." Cherī's heart filled with guilt hearing the young girl speak.

"I'm sorry. I know I haven't been around, and half of the reason is because of my job. The other half...." She lowered her head.

"To tell you the truth, I've been thinking about moving back to Karakura Town." Cherī lifted her head smiling at the surprised girls across from her.

"Really!?" Karin shouted.

"You're moving back?!" Yuzu smiled.

"Yeah, hopefully it'll be soon." The green eyed Soul Reaper replied with a smile.

"That's great! Dad will be so happy to hear the news!" Yuzu told her.

"Speaking of your dad, you haven't seen him since your entrance ceremony?"

"Yeah, and Ichigo is rarely ever home. It's just us most of the time." Karin spoke before taking a spoon full of her ice cream.

"Geez, that boy. I'll teach him a lesson once I get my hands on him." The twins gave each other a look as they smiled. After finishing their dessert they all walked around the shopping center picking good for tonight's dinner beforr heading home.

"We're home!" Karin shouted as they entered the house. No one answered back. No greeting.

"Guess Ichigo isn't here again."

"Why don't we start on dinner. We'll save some for Ichigo and your dad." Cherī said as she took out the ingredients.

"Okay." Cherī could see that the girls missed having their brother around. It was around ten at night when the girls finished their meals and cleaned the kitchen and table.

"Okay, girls. I have to leave now."

"Do you have to leave now, Cherī?"

"Yes. I'm staying at my father's place for awhile. Karin, you know where it is, right?"

"Yeah, at Urahara's Shop." Cherī nods. She seeing a notepad hanging on the wall, she took out a pen and writes on the paper.

"If you need anything just call me on my mobile. Let that idiot brother of yours know I'll be seeing him around." She said stepping away from the notepad.

"We will." Yuzu said with a smile.

"I'm sure he'll be surprised that you were even here." Karin tells Cherī as the twins walked the teen out the house. Waving goodbye, Cherī walked dowm the silent road as she hums.

"You've been waiting for quite a while. Why don't you come out." Cherī spoke out loud as she stood in the empty streets when footsteps were heard up the block. A figure was seen by Cherī, the person's face was covered by the shadows.

"Who are you?" Cherī narrowed her eyes. The voice belonged to a man.

"I should be the one questioning you since you have been following me since this afternoon." The man chuckles stepping out into the light.

"I can't believe you noticed for that long ago. I'm impressed."

"Don't be. It's not that hard to notice."

"I suppose you're right. I mean, it's not that hard not to know a Soul Reaper has appeared in Karakura Town." The man explains shrugging his shoulders.
