The teacher walked in and passed around plain white books that were empty, the cover having a spot for a picture then plenty of room for writing. The bell had just rung when she passed out the first book. She then spent the rest of class telling us about the project, which was just basically what was written on the board, then she told us about what we would be doing during the class. Such things included; Sewing, Baby Project, Budget management, and Career Clusters. So since she wasn't really doing anything...Keyon and I were throwing paper balls at each other, even though we were right next to each other. The class seemed to go by faster this way, and I smiled as we walked out of the class. I purposely walked slower so I would fall behind him, where I pulled out an extremely large paper ball out of my backpack, I had been creating it in secret for this moment. As soon as Keyon turned around I hurled the ball in his direction. In shock, Keyon's reflexes reacted and used the ball as a basketball, going into a stance to where he placed his hand on top of the paper ball at the right moment and attempted to dribble the ball. I laughed as the ball didn't bounce back into his hand and he shook his head at me.
"Did you just try to dribble a paper ball?" I laughed as he picked up the paper ball.
" It was a reflex! I play basketball... that's probably why!" He exclaimed in his defense, throwing the ball back at me so I could catch it.
"Uh-huh." I hummed putting the ball back in my backpack for whatever reason, pulling my backpack so it was hanging on my stomach as I dug around for Adira's keys. Once I found them I pulled them out and closed my backpack, swinging it around to my back. When I looked up we were walking out into the parking lot. I was glad that the school allowed you to eat lunch off campus, otherwise, I would be stuck with disgraceful school lunch food. Once we edged nearer to the cars I rushed over.
"Don't be creeped out," I warned as I looked at Keyon's car with awe.
"Hey, could you actually drive us all? I kinda wanna ride in the Tesla." Keyon asked as I looked at him.
"You have an Agera RS and you want to ride in a Tesla?" I asked with raised eyebrows as he nodded, Gaige and Malaki edged nearer, starting to hear the conversation.
"I kinda want to as well," Malaki added as Gaige shrugged.
"Fine, under ONE condition... You give me a ride in the Agera." I stated
"Deal." Keyon agreed with a laugh.
"Oh and also, if you even create a smudge on Adira, I will bring you to your grave." I glared at the three boys.
"Adira?" Gaige asked
"My car," I explained, walking over to the driver's seat.
Malaki attempted to open the backseat door and looked at me for help. I raised an eyebrow.
"Pull up," I bluntly said as Malaki did so, the doors didn't open outwards, the doors would open so to where they would hang up in the air if you left them open. (Just in case you didn't understand because I didn't know how to explain it, here's an image)
"Oh~" He awed at the doors as I got into the drivers seat, sitting down closing the door behind me. Keyon sat in the passenger seat, Malaki and Gaige sat in the backseats. I clicked on the touchscreen, going to the GPS.
"Put in the location," I told Keyon as he did so, Adira starting to give me directions as I started following them. Soon we were there and I asked them, eyes still ahead of me,
"To-go or go in?" I asked as everyone looked at the screen, looking at the time.
"Go in?" Gaige asked as I nodded
"I'd prefer that," I stated as I parked Adira, powering her off I stepped out of the car. We walked into the McDonalds and ordered, sitting at a booth where we all began to chatter while we ate. As soon as it started, it was over though, Malaki made a chicken joke and suddenly, we were out of the McDonalds building and back in the car.
"Was the chicken joke necessary though?" I asked Malaki as I edged near the school, everyone laughing at my sudden question."Very." Gaige had replied for him as I parked Adira, shaking my head as I powered her off again.
"Idiots are everywhere," I muttered while leaving Adira, placing my keys in my backpack again.
"Hey Valerie, give us your phone for a sec," Malaki asked, I think he asked at least? Who knows. I knew what they were gonna do but I gave them my phone anyways. Three new numbers added to my phone.
Walking into the school Keyon asked, "Who is 'Old Pervert' on your phone?" I had stopped leaning on a locker as I laughed at the question that was suddenly asked.
"My dad," I laughed, "It's a joke between us, don't worry," I continued to laugh between words. Once I calmed down I looked up again,
"Why were you snooping on my phone?" I asked
"I wasn't when I went to add my number the name was just there," Keyon defended himself.
"Uh-huh. Remind me to change your name to 'Snooper' on my phone later." I told him as Malaki and Gaige started to laugh.
"Anyways, see ya later!" I exclaimed rushing to my next class.
