”FUCK!”
Duke, Leo and Annie jumped at the loud voice and turned to look at the owner who sat on the sofa curled up as a ball. ”CAN'T YOU FLY STRAIGHT?!”
”What is she doing...?” Duke questioned, not taking his eyes off of Missi as she continued tapping on her phone screen.
”I don't know....” Leo answered ”But I think you better stay away from her for the time being,”
”THIS BIRD!!!” Missi yelled and shot up from the sofa, glaring at her phone ”WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?!”
”Oh,” Annie commented as she continued to watch her bestie yell at her phone.
”What?” Duke asked, looking over to his lover's friend.
”She's playing Flappy Bird,” she answered, with a look of amusement and pity on her face as she watched Missi struggle.
”What is that?” Leo asked.
”A game from hell.” Annie answered darkly before she took her slushie and left the room, leaving Duke and Leo alone in the same room as the pissed off woman. "I'm out. You're alone buddy," Leo said and left the room after giving Duke a pat at the back.
”ARE YOU SHITTING ME?!”
”Um... Love?”
”WHAT?!” she yelled, not taking her eyes off the screen.
”I think you should stop playing that game,”
”NOT UNTIL I GET PASS 10 POINTS!”
”How long have you been playing that game?”
”... 12 hours...” she paused before she continued speaking. ”straight. I haven't slept, eaten or even gone to the bathroom...”
”Dear, put the phone down and get some rest.” Duke said flatly.
”NO! I NEED TO BEAT MY HIGH SCORE!”
”Let me do it. You obviously can't win.”
”Pfft, like you could do it.”
”I am a thousand year old vampire. Of course I can.”
After few tries of playing it, she instantly gave up. ”SON OF A BITCH!” she yelled as she threw the phone on the floor ”I'M DONE! I'M NOT GOING THIS ANYMORE!” she stomped out of the room, leaving her phone behind.
10 minuteslater.....
”Just one more try...” Missi said as she rushed back to her phone.
”Hand it over, love,” Duke spoke and held his hand out. She glared at him for a couple of seconds before she walked over and gave him her phone.
”How do I play this?”
”Tap the screen to make the bird stay in the air. Then you have to get it though those holes.”
”Sounds easy enough.”
”As if!” they could hear Annie's voice which then turned into a laugh from downstairs.
Duke huffed before he turned his attention to the game. As he started the game he immediately regretted it.
”WHY CAN'T YOU FLY LIKE A NORMAL BIRD?!” he yelled as he clicked replay. ”WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE, STUPID BIRD?!”
”Ah... I feel oddly revealed now...” Missi spoke and stretched. ”I'm going to bed. Have fun sweetie~!” she kissed his cheek before she quickly left the room, not that he took any notice as he continued playing.
