Chapter 8. Oh No.

Lizzie's POV 

We finished up the movie and I was still smiling at the kiss.

"Well," he started, making me jump, "that was good, but I need to go to the loo right now so I'll be back in a minute." he  smiled as he got off the bed and walked out of my room. I heard a door shut and I figured that it was Daniel until I heard voices.

"Yeah, I loved that film." said a voice I recognised from downstairs.

"Like, I would never have guessed that they killed him." I heard Jonah say as someone started walking up the stairs.

Shit.

"Oh hi Lizzie." Jonah said as he walked to my door and walked back to the stairs into his room. I smiled at him, wondering what to do next. I heard the toilet flush quietly as I saw the bathroom door open slightly. Daniel had obviously heard that Jonah was back. He peeked his head round the door as he tip-toe ran into my room.

"What are we gonna' do now?" he whisper yelled at me.

"I don't know but Jonah is in his room and that's on the way to the stairs and Corbyn is downstairs so I don't know how you're going to sneak past both of them but..." I answered before Daniel cut me off.

"Wait." he said suddenly "Didn't you climb out of your window and jump down?" he looked worried and so did I.

"Well yeah, but are you ok with jumping out the window?" I asked

"Yeahh," he started, a sense of uneasiness in his voice, "okay but can you help me t..." The door opened.

"Trying to leave are we?" spoke Jonah. He stood in the door frame, one arm resting on the wall next to it. He spoke and looked calm but I could see how he really felt just by looking in his eye. I could see he looked hurt, yet angry. He looked straight into my eyes then to Daniel and he just looked at the floor.

"J..Jonah um I was err." Daniel stuttered as he made eye contact with Jonah.

"No." Jonah said sternly. "Just go." he said, sounding depressed as he moved to the side and Daniel walked out the door. He turned back to face me and just said one word. "Why?" 

That one word would change my mood for the whole night.

A/N 

Hey, well I'm sorry that this was a short one but it was kinda an extra one so I  didn't have a lot of time to write this because I had 3 hours of sports after school and I'm really tired. Currently I am obsessed with Hey good lookin' off their new EP I've literally had it on repeat for like 40 mins.
