Lizzie's POV
It was now starting to get dark; my favourite time of the day. I grabbed a picnic blanket and another, normal blanket along with a little cushion.
I decided to do some stargazing, which was one of my favourite things to do, outside in my garden. I set up my rug and the cushion and I then wrapped myself in the blanket and laid down. Where I was it was harder to see the stars because of the light from the city and all the light pollution but nonetheless I could make out a few constellations like Ursa Major and Minor, Andromeda and Aries along with some other things such as Polaris and mars.
I had been there for quite a while before I heard footsteps behind me.
"Hey Beth."
I turned to see the speaker even though I already knew who it was. "Hey Dani, wanna join?"
He wondered over to me and sat down beside me. I wrapped him in the blanket too and we stayed there, cuddled up together, for a long time. We weren't talking, we were looking up into the universe and enjoying each others company.
"Dani," I looked to face him, "you know in your song, nobody gotta know, it says 'I would walk a million miles to find my way to you'"
"Of course, that is something I would do for you." He replied, kissing me on the cheek.
"That would mean that you would have to walk to and from the moon twice, and then walk almost twice around the earth's circumference to walk one million miles." I said softly.
Daniel let out a soft laugh "Tell me, why do you know this?"
"I don't know, sometimes I see or hear people say things like 'oh I have to watch all these episodes before Tuesday' or something like that and I don't know. I just feel obliged to work out how possible that would be."
"So, you're saying that walking to and from the earth, twice, isn't even a million miles?" Daniel asked.
"Yeah, it's like if you are trying to find me, you go to the moon and come back but go again just to double check." we both grinned at this.
"Did you know that the north star, Polaris, isn't actually the brightest star in the sky, despite what everyone says." Daniel informed me.
"Yeah, its actually the 50th brightest star in the night sky. People probably think that it's the brightest because it is the brightest star in ursa minor." I turned my body to face Daniel's, "The brightest star is Sirius." I laced my fingers over his cheeks and kissed him slowly. I pulled away and faced back to the stars and we both fell into a comfortable silence.
"I really, really like you Elizabeth Marais." Daniel whispered softly as he stroked my hair. I knew he thought that I was asleep but I couldn't help smiling.
I woke up from strong arms carrying me to my room and another person walking behind us. I was set down on my bed and the person who was carrying me kissed my forehead and whispered a "Night."
"Night Jonah." I whispered back.
The other figure came towards me and gently kissed my lips. "Goodnight Beth."
"Goodnight Dani." and I fell asleep with a smile on my face.
A/N - Hey, so I have decided to stop this book here because I thought that it was getting boring. I was going to have a little plot about Zach and all that stuff but I was honestly losing inspiration for this whole book tbh.
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this chapter and this book because I really liked writing it. Thank you for reading it and I am ending this on around about 150 views which I am really happy about. I will do another book soon if you want to stick around for that (not a sequel in case you were wondering) I am undecided about who though. I am going to be doing another WDW book but not until at least February, maybe longer.
But like I said before I am grateful that you have decided to read my book and I hope I will see you in another one, BYEE!
