Chapter 06 - An Afternoon in Woody Town

Year 5023, Sunday March 23, 12:55hs.
The hours have passed since Niro woke up and met the inhabitants of this town. After a productive morning helping Suny with the duties of home, all have gathered in front of the table once more to have lunch together. Suny and Philip have prepared some homemade pasta with sauce and bread rolls stuffed with vegetables. The whole family enjoys lunch with the company of their unexpected guest.

- Niro: - Enjoying the lunch and close to finishing it, he feels that he should offer his opinion about it - This is delicious! Hmmm... Yummy. I congratulate you for this exquisite dish. The truth is that I'd never tried anything like this. - Suny and Philip smile to see him so happy with what they have prepared.

- George: - Smiling and proudly tells Niro - Of course it's delicious! Suny's an expert cook and Philip's her best apprentice! They two are the best chefs in all of Woody Town! That I can assure you! Hahahaha!

- Niro: - Curiously, he asks - And you also know how to cook? - George is nervous and everyone else, including his own son, begins to laugh out loud.

- Philip: - Teasing in a friendly way of his best friend, he tells Niro - Hahaha! Good joke, Niro. But no, he's the best carpenter and lumberjack of the town but at the same time he's the worst cook of all. Don't go to want to try some of his dishes because surely you won't wake up more. - George grimaces that shows he was upset by the comment.

- John: - Smiling happily as he joins in the comments telling one of his experiences - It's true, once Daddy did something that was very ugly. I don't remember what happened, I fell asleep. - George grimaces in discomfort as he still regrets that incident.

- Suny: - Smiling while joking - Maybe you're not good at cooking but you might be good at making homemade poisons, don't you think? - Everyone starts to laugh out loud, including George who can no longer deal with the matter for which he has surrendered before the moment.

- Niro: - Looks with pity on Philip's right arm and comment with amazement - I still can't believe that you're such a good cook even having... your arm...

- Philip: - Smiling, he tries that Niro does not worry while he assures him – Don't worry about that. I have become used to it and also that Suny has taught me very well. I know how to cook in my state thanks to her. - Everyone is very grateful to Suny and it showed in the smiles that were dedicated at that time. Niro could not help smiling too.

- Suny: - Smiles at others before turning to Niro to ask him very curiously - Well... Niro, you came here without knowing how, when or why, much less where you were. What will you do now? - Everyone turns to Niro feeling curious about the answer, especially Luchi who has not taken his eyes off him at any time.

- Niro: - After thinking for a brief moment, Niro responds to Suny showing determination in his eyes - First of all, I want to visit Suntra's Temple of Fire. I want to see with my own eyes how a temple that is dedicated to a single Elemental God is. - Everyone is confused after hearing about the temple.

- George: - He cannot avoid commenting - Wait a moment, how's that about the temples? What's not all of them like that?

- Niro: - He explains - It happens that in my homeland, the temples are dedicated to three or four gods. The only exception is the Temple dedicated to our Lord, the King of the Gods and God of the Mortals, Omni-El. My people pray to all the gods without showing favoritism but everyone prays to Omni-El as the only true guide. We only pray for him personally and not the other gods. That's why it seems strange to me that in these lands people pray to only one Elemental God and not to all as my people do.
