The boys and I were going to the mall.  

We pulled into a parking spot.  I was the first to get out.  We all raced like little kids to the entrance of the mall, Corbyn being first, followed my me and last being Zach.  We walked in the store and went to the Shoe Carnival. (Don't know if they have it there, I live across the country from Cali)

We got into the store.  I tried on a few pairs of basketball high-tops, buying one of them.  

We exited out of the store and crossed Hot Topic.  I saw someone familiar, a girl to be exact.  This girl was none other than Alia.  I mentally clenched my fists when I saw her with another guy.

I mean, I did agree to breaking up, but this guy looked like one of those ratchet popular girls that bully other girls in high school.  

The one thing that was the most fake out of everything was his smile.  When Alia smiled after saying something, he would smile back with his cheesy smile.  It was almost a smirk but with teeth. 

We passed them.  I earned a glare from her new boyfriend.

"Oh, hey guys." Alia smiled.

"Alia, this one's checking you out." Her boyfriend said, nudging her.  I was taller than him, so my head was turned down a bit.  

"Noah, that's my ex.  We broke up two months ago.  We both agreed to break up, you have nothing to worry about." Alia said.

"What are you guys doing here?" Zach asked.

"Oh, her brother told me that we had to go somewhere else.  Something about him not liking me very much." Noah said.

Hit me up with her brother so we can talk about what we hate about this dude.

"Well, we'll see you later." Daniel said.

"Bye guys." Alia waved.

I remembered I had Matthew's number.  We were cool.

Me: Yo

Matt: Yo

Me: Can the boys and I come over so we can show that kid who's boss?

Matt: Noah?  

Me: Yeah

Matt: Of course, anytime.  Please actually.  Get him out of my entire life!!!!!

Me: Cool beans

Matt: Do people still say that

Me: I guess because I just said it.  😏  ( On his Q&A Jonah said his favorite emoji is the smirk one :P)

Matt: Cool beans

"We're gonna kill this dude." I said, mentally high-fiving my boys.

"We're gonna slay him!" Jack said as we got in the car.

We drove to Alia's place.  We got there and knocked on the door, being greeted by her older brother.

We all sat at the table, talking about random stuff.  We heard the door open.

"We're going to his place, I just need to get some things." Alia said to Matthew, turning to her room.

When Alia's door shut, Noah came over to me.

"Now you're stalking her." He said.

"Noah, he's my friend."  Matthew told him.  

"You're trying to get back to her." He said as I stood up.  He looked up a bit at me.

"If you really want to, fight me shorty."  I said, clenching my fist.

"Alright.  Right here, right now." 

"Are you trying to make life seem like a movie." I rolled my eyes and took a hit from him, not painful enough.

Let's just say I won this match.

Alia came out shocked.

"Who started this?" She asked.  We all pointed at Noah.  "I'll get him home." She shrugged her shoulders and turned away, followed by Noah.
