*Five Months Later*

Life without the boys was hard.

Jonah and I didn't text.

None of the boys and I did.

I decided to text Jonah.

***

Me: Hey.

Jonah❤️ : Hi

Me: I don't think this is going to work.

Jonah❤️ :  What?

Me: I feel like this relationship is a job now.  I feel like I'm texting you every once in a while.  We're catching up.  Couples shouldn't catch up.

Jonah❤️ : Babe.  I agree, but I'm going to miss you more than our relationship.

  Jonah❤️ : I guess this is goodbye?

Me: Goodbye is forever.  This is more like "See you later, alligator

Jonah❤️ : Well than, see you later Aliagator.

Me: After a while, Jonahdile.

  Jonah❤️ : That doesn't sound good

Me: I know.

I sighed and closed my phone.

*Two Months Later*

The boys got back from tour a month ago.  I met a new YouTuber.  His name was Noah.  He was a vlogger with 651,000 subscribers.  Meanwhile, gaining more because of me who has 2,000,000.

How did we meet exactly?  I went to a party (No drinking, not a drinker) and he was there too.  We met and hit off pretty quickly.  He was cute too.

He looks like young Charlie Puth.

And that's what I said to him.

"Well, you look like yourself because you don't look like anyone I've seen.  I'm only twenty, so that's not a lot." Is what he said back.

Cute, charming, and kind.  Everything I looked for in a companion.  That was everything I saw in Jonah when I met him too.

My phone buzzed.

***

Charlie Puth💕: Hey mind if I come over?

Me: Not a problem

  Charlie Puth💕:  Good.  Wyd?

Me: Not much.

Charlie Puth💕: Be there in 10.

I shut my phone, putting it on the bedside table.  I stood up and went to the kitchen where Matthew sat, scrolling through his Instagram feed.

"Matt?"

"Alia?"

"Is it fine if Noah comes over?" I asked

"Not that kid, anyone but him.  Why not Jonah?" He said, rolling his eyes.

"Me and Jonah are over.  Now, what's the hate on my new boyfriend?" I asked, not realizing I had just said 'boyfriend'.

"Boyfriend?  I literally said no to this kid." He said, raising his eyebrows.

"You're not my fricking dad!" I growled at him.

"I'm five years older than you." He said.

"Still, not my dad." I rolled my eyes.

"I've seen you hurt before.  I don't want it to happen again." Matthew said concerned.  "He can come over, just no talking with me.  At least go to the mall or something, just remember the daddy isn't here to save you." He said.

"Don't say daddy, just wrong, how about dad?" I said.

"Fine with me." He said, turning his attention back on his golden phone.

The doorbell rang.
