My Little Perfect World Crumbling Down...
After my dream come true movie date with Aaric , I went with him to the beach where he first asked me out...The night sky was illumined by the soft glow of the moon . Stars shone brightly , trying to overcome the beauty of the moon with their shine . The water which appeared dark blue due to the night , rose high in tides and crashed down back. It was like the water was trying to reach the moon, which was the prettiest by breaking its bonds with the deep blue ocean.
We sat there in a comfortable silence enjoying each others presence .
When i saw the caller id I groaned, " Why she always spoil the best moments..?? " I murmured but Aaric heard it chuckled lightly.I felt a blush colouring my cheeks a light shade of red .
"Yes mom..??" I asked her .
"Where are you Brooke ..?? I want you to come home this very second..!!" OMG she sounds angry.
"One second done mother..."
"Its not the time for your sarcasm , come home quick. Get it..??"
"Yes mom.."
I sighed .My step mom is not the cliche step mom who makes the step daughter do the household chores,she actually is pretty civil to me .I have one little brother , and three little stepsisters at home and she never differentiated between us.She actually is more focused on her financial profits and her long never ending chain of boyfriends...
"Is everything OK..??"Aaric said,halting my train of thoughts.
"Aaric i am sorry but i will have to leave now , my step mom needs me."
"Alright i'll drop you home then.."

As soon as i entered my house i was met by the sight of my very angry stepmother ,Regina waiting for me on the door(yes i know ,She can be Regina George to people sometimes..)and all my siblings on the sofas inside the house.She grabbed my wrist and took me in the house.
" I need to talk to all of you.."She said and i saw her lower lip quivering.Oh no she is going to cry.
And just then she broke into loud sobs follower by wailing and tears.We all sat there not knowing what to do or what was the reason of her dismay..
"Mommy" my little angel like brother Aaban spoke to Regina."Mommy don't cry,we all are here with you it will be alright .Can we do something for you..??" Despite of being only 8 years old he knew what to speak and when to speak. Oh god why did he get the better genes..??
Regina hugged my brother and started crying softly on his shoulder while my brother hugged her back and kept whispering soothing words to her. I wonder how can he control The Regina Carter:The most successful lady in the town.
Finally Regina stopped crying and looked at her three daughter , then me and at last gave a loving glance to Aaban.
"My boyfriend, Zach gave out confidential information to the rival business group of the Spenser's and i lost the deal with my client. Due to this i suffered a huge loss of ten million pounds.I broke up with Zach but i have to give compensation charges of twelve million pounds in two months otherwise they will shut down my company.I had a word with the Spencers but Edward Spencer ,the head of the company refused to give the order to me.I asked all my business partners to help me pay the compensation charges to the authority but they all refused.The said that i will never be able to pay back the amounts on them..I am no longer rich."
We all listened to her,thunderstruck by this piece of information.The smallest of all the sisters,Cady looked at her mom and asked,"What will we do now mommy..??"
"I don't know Honey i don't know."
"Well i can look for a job." I said .
Despite everything these are my family and I need to pay back Regina for her hospitality toward the children of her husband's mistress .Regina shook her head and chucked humorlessly,"You don't need to do that Brooke darling.I will see what can be done but i wanted to tell you all this so that i can be honest to you,I love all five kids of mine a lot."
We all went to her and hugged her tightly ."Food is ready madam."Said our maid,Stacey.
"You stupid lady you absolutely do not know when to speak . I will cut your salary for this..blah blah blah......"
Well now she is back to her 'Regina George ' mode , means she is normal.
We all went to sleep then but i knew that my siblings are not understanding the gravity of the situation.What else can you expect from 8 and 5 year olds..??But i need to find a job , I need to help the lady who was if not more than equal to a mother.
Deciding it , I call Riya, my best friend who owns a town side cafe.
"Brooke..??What is the matter..??Are you OK..??Did you step mother threw you out of the hose..??Tell me what happened..???!!!" I smiled at the concern in her voice.I believe that we all have that one friend who reads many novels and believes in cliches. Riya always thinks that my stepmother is evil.
"I am fine Riya , don't worry but i actually need a favour from you.."
"Of course , you just ask i will even give up my life to you..!!" I giggled at her gesture.
"No Riya, i don't want your life.I..um.. I actually want you to give me a job in your cafe because my family's financial condition is not at all good...." And then i tell her the entire story.
"Oh okay no issues i will help but i don't think Regina will like this.." "Don't worry i will see to that "
"Okay then you can be the manager."
"OH no no i like the manager in your store i will do ordinary jobs its no problem."
"Well Brooke let me have a word with my parents and then i will let you know after three days.. Is that good..??"
"Um... alright thank you..!!"
"No worries Brooky ,now sleep . You have to go to school tomorrow.."
I groaned at the name of school. "Okie dokie bye bye"
"Bye Brooke".
I did not slept well that night but i slept nevertheless praying for the best of my family...
