—-Trey—-
I almost kissed her.
She told me everything.
I almost kissed her.
She seemed like she was going to kiss me to.
"Trey, you better get to class," Jill says and hands me a late note. I take it and don't say anything since I'm in my little world.
I'm breathing heavily as I walk down the hallway to my first class.
I almost kissed her.
It would have felt so good.
I enter my first class and ignore the teacher and just give her the note and go to sit down.
"Hey Trey," a girl says to me in a seductive tone but I wave her off. I'm to busy thinking about Rose.
She's been through so much.
My sweet Rose has been through crap. I noticed how she avoided questions about her family that day we just sat and talked, but I did to. I don't like to talk about family because I don't have any. At least not anymore.
That day was amazing. Just spending it with her. Now she's told me everything. Well except for her mom and the rest of her family. I wish Jill hadn't come. I want to kiss her perfect pink lips so much. I feel hunger whenever I stare at them and I can't stop. I've only done that like once or twice though. But now that I've been so close to what I've wanted to do for a while now I'll be staring at them a lot more. The way she looked at me before she left was different. Like she wanted to kiss me too. Like she was as mad that Jill came as much as I was. I let out a breath and run a slow hand through my hair.
"Trey?" What now?
"Hmm?" I ask. I'm not rude to people just because.
"I was wondering if you'd-" I stop listening after that. What am I going to do when I see her at lunch? I won't be able to stop looking at her. She's so beautiful yet so broken. How can someone be so beautiful and have the prettiest smile while being so broken. She's a fighter to. A street fighter?
Wow did not see that one coming. Well seeing her on a serious 'jog' more than once and her arms are built. Not to mention her six pack.
Oh holy heck! I don't know what I'm going to do. She's just so perfect. So amazing. I think I lo-
"Trey?!" I hear the girl that was trying to talk to me say in an annoyed voice.
"What?" I ask giving her my full attention. I was just about to say something very deep. Something that I don't believe in. I need to get my mind off her.
"I asked you a question!" She said seething with anger now. What?
"Well," I paused waiting for her to go on when she gave me a look of disbelief I continued, "Go on," I said and gestured to her. She scoffed muttered whatever and turned around and paid attention to whatever the teacher was dragging on and on about. Whatever.
It's now time for lunch and I can't wait to see her. I can't wait to see Rose.
My Rose.
Lately we've been hanging out with Kim and her friends which I don't mind because they are all pretty cool and our age. Jax also told me that we should sit with them today at lunch. If Rose is there, than I'm there. Also, I don't really feel like sitting outside and taking a smoke. I walk in the lunch room and catch one set of brown-green eyes. I smile and get in the lunch line to grab my food. Not once breaking eye contact, not blinking. I'm doing one of my famous stares that seem to freak some girls out and I've never lost. I've never lost until she came and won two. Let's see who wins this one. I stare hard into her gorgeous eyes determined to win. She stares back just as hard.
Hm.
"Honey are you going to take that or not?" One of the annoying lunch ladies asked. I still don't break contact, I can't.
"Take what?" I ask still not looking away. She smirks.
Rose smirks at me. Ha.
She's cute when she smirks. She's cute when she does anything. I put random things on my tray and walk over to the table. The table where Jax and our friends, Kim and hers and my Rose. I sit down right in front of her and she raises her eyebrows in amusement. My eyes are still locked on hers and she hasn't blinked once. Aren't her eyes hurting? Mine aren't yet but they will soon. I can do it longer than the average human but not longer than a freak.
"Hey Trey how have you been?" I think Kim asks. Still not breaking eye contact I answer her question.
"I've been doing just fine," I pause to smile at Rose, "How have you been?" I ask.
"I've been doing great! Are you going to stay tonight again?" She asks making my eyes snap to her, breaking eye contact. How could she bring up I've been staying at her house? She knows that my mom doesn't give a crap about me. She knows I don't like to go home and my home isn't even a home. She knows I hardly ever see my mom since I haven't been home in a couple of weeks. Anyways let's get away from that and focus on the task at hand. I don't like thinking about my parents.
She broke my eye contact with Rose!
SHE BROKE MY EYE CONTACT!!!
Uuuuuugh.
I give Kim an annoyed look instead of a glare while I hear Rose laughing.
Gosh I love her laugh.
I look over at her and smile.
"Whatever I'll win the next one," I say cockily. I bet I will. She rolls her eyes.
"Ya sure, that's what you said last time," then she scoffed and began eating. Woah she's actually eating. At school.
She lifts her head as Kim starts talking to her. She sticks out her tongue to lick some sauce from her sandwich off her bottom lip.
I watch her intently as she says something. I want to kiss her lips so bad. I need to. I lick my lips wanting the feel of hers on mine. I want her to be with me.
"Trey? Are you coming?" Jax asked. My eyes snap from her lips to Jax's face.
"I-I-I, where?" I ask. What were they talking about?
"See Rose, He was staring at you," he says with a smirk looking at Rose. Ugh, they caught me.
"No he wasn't just because he can't answer a question doesn't mean he was staring at me," Rose says. I look back at her and I see panic in her eyes, but once again she covers up because she's that way. I smirk at her once I realize that she knew I was staring at her. Specifically her lips. She knows what I want to do and now, I know that she wants the same thing.
"McCarter, how have you been?" I hear the voice I have never wanted to hear ever again. I look up and see the exact same grey eyes I have punched millions of times.
"What do you want? Preston?" I spit out with a harsh glare in his direction. He laughs.
"Oh how funny you are McCarter. I don't want anything. I just came to say hello to my old best buddies and to see this new lovely lady," he turns to Rose and smiles at her.
"Hi I'm Braden, Braden Preston. Who might you be?" He says as he sticks out his hand. I look at Rose to see her fake smiling back. It's nothing new, but it makes me happy that she doesn't give him one of her rare true smiles. She takes his hand which only makes his smile grow wider.
"I'm Rose Wither. Nice to meet you," She says as she shakes his hand. She try's to pull away but he doesn't let go of her hand. He brings it up to his lips and kisses her hand. Anger rises in me. How dare he touch her like that?
"The pleasure was all mine," he says while looking at me with a mischievous smile. Slowly he let's go of her hand. Her hand that should be in mine. I look back at her to already see her staring at me.
"Oh I'm sorry was I interrupting anything?" He asks in a mocking tone.
"Go away Preston. We don't want you here," Hunter spits with his own glare.
"Oh ya who's gonna make me?" He asks. I ball up my fists and get up, the sound of my chair scraping across the floor is loud.
"We said we don't want you here Preston. Now beat it." I say.
"Ooooh. Look who's all big and tough now. How's your dad?" He asks. I take another step to him.
"Still in prison?" He asks again, "What about dearest mother?"
How dare he.
I make a move to punch him but I hear
Jacks sneakers squeak.
"Don't," Jack says. He's the one probably out of everyone that knows what I can do to a persons face. I was the one that rescued him that day. But I'm not the closest with him. Jax has always been there for me. He's sort of my rock.
-Rose-
I watch as Trey stands up and has his fists clenched.
"Ooooh. Look who's all big and tough now. How's your dad?" Braden says.
"Still in prison?" He asks. Still in prison? What is he talking about? Treys dad is in prison? "How about dearest mother?" He asks again. I've noticed that Trey doesn't like talking about his family but when he heard his mom things were about to escalate very quickly. Jack stands up with a glare at him also.
What is up with these boys?
"Don't," Jack says. His eyes burning with anger. He continues,
"Come on Braden you know how today's going to end." Jack says. What is happening?
"Oh I do, do I? Will he end up in prison just like his father?" He says with a snicker afterwards. The next thing I know Trey has his shirt in a handful and he is punching the crap out of Braden's face. The whole cafeteria bursts into gasps and some start yelling things like; 'Come on Trey beat his A!' and 'Show us how it's done Trey!' Braden started to punch him back but obviously failing. Trey eventually beats him to the floor. Causing Braden to lay on the floor bloodied face and groaning. The whole cafeteria bursts into cheers, chanting Treys name. He turns around with a smile of satisfaction but it drops once he sees my stunned face. He walks over to me and kneels down. (Considering I'm still sat down). He opens his mouth to speak until his name is yelled over the loud crowned of people.
"TREY!! MY OFFICE NOW!" I see the principal walking over and the whole room has silenced. He strokes my cheek with his thumb and gives me a smile before strutting out of the cafeteria, hands deep in his pockets with the principal.
