Ice cold, Barth

"Rose it's time for you to leave," a nurse I've never seen before came and said to me. I've already changed into my cloths and now I had to do what I've been dreading.
"Ok," I said and I got up to go with Trey close behind. He hasn't left. He's stayed with me and tried to keep me calm throughout the whole day. We walk into the lobby and I see my dad and an all to familiar guy with ice cold blue eyes.
When my dad looks up I notice that he has a dark purple bruise on his eye and his jaw. What happened? The other guy and him stand up. My dads face is happy and grateful until he sees Trey.
"What are you still dong here?" He asks his eyes turning into flames.
"Why are you here?" Trey asks and when I look at him I don't think I've ever seen him so angry. Not even his encounter with Braden in the lunch room could meet up.
"I'm her father. I get to be here. Now why don't you run off to mummy and daddy and leave my daughter alone," he says back while standing up straighter trying to make himself intimidating. This isn't going to end well. You can't mention Treys parents like that. But for your safety not at all. Trey try's to lunge at my dad but I quickly grab him and look him in the eyes. When his eyes connect with mine his face doesn't look so mad anymore.
"I'll be fine. Jut leave and I'll see tomorrow. I promise." I tell him trying to make him believe me and leave without having a fight.
"No I'm not going to leave you with that psychopath," he says while looking up at my dad once again.
"No you're going. Bye Trey," I tell him and let go and leave with my dad before he can even react. My dad lead me to a black vehicle and Barth was walking behind me as if making sure I didn't run away.
Yes that's what people call him. It's really lame but no one ever dares to tell him.
As we got to the car I was about to get in but when Barth started talking it caught my attention.
"Remember what I said Donald. Or she gets hurt." He said and then walked off to another dark car.
Who's going to get hurt?
What she?
Mom? Kate? Kim?
"Get in the car Rose," I heard my dads voice it was gruff and harsh.
"Your fight is tomorrow night so we have a lot to do," he said turning the ignition and not even looking at me.
"Ok," was all I could say to keep my safety.
Tomorrow's Monday. Exactly one month from when we got here. I'm probably not even going to be able to go to school tomorrow. As soon as we got to our dump I went in and started to put on my fighting gear. He walked in the room just as I tied my last strap.
"What should I do?" I ask trying not to set him off.
"Just do your thing and try some new shots," he said with a shrug and went off to who knows where.

I groan loudly when I hear a knock on the door. I still have a hangover from this morning. I take the cold ice pack off of my forehead and go to the door.
"Long time no see Donald," I blink a couple of times to make sure I'm seeing right. He shoved past me along with two other men who just glared at me.
"Stop gawking. It's me get over it," I still couldn't believe that he had found me. I was supposed to disappear. My train of thoughts were gone the second I felt a fist jam in my eye, making me stumble back slightly.
"We came for some matters that need to be discussed," he said as he sat down on the couch that Rose usually sleeps on. The couch that Rose almost bled to death on.
Because of him.
"I assume you got my note?"
I nod.
"Good. But the problem is that we haven't seen her in the ring for awhile. Could you tell us why?"
"What do you mean she's been in the rink," I tell them hoping that her being there only once is good enough.
"Only once. Once since you've gotten here. Why is that Donald?" He asks me with a questioning glare.
What do I say?
"She's been training for a new, bigger guy lately. And it should-" I could barely even finish my lie before I was knocked to the ground with a hit to the jaw.
"You know I don't like being lied to. She better be in the fight tomorrow night or you'll pay," he stood up and as he walked to the door he turned back, "Or if you start to become the problem, then she will pay for your mistakes." After that one of his men kicked me in the stomach and they walked out leaving me groaning on the floor. I got up to take some more pain killers and there was only one thought on my mind.
We've got a fight to prepare for.
