It was an age old race
Of darkness and light
One likes to savour things up whole
The other likes to leave it's trace
If you ask me,
Which I think you should
Favour little bit of both
Cause light doesn't always bring good
And choose a little bit of darkness while you are there
Cause favouring just one isn't fair
But do remember, all you have asked me
I might not follow
Cause I hate everything shiny and bright
I hate all things that glow
So, even at the end of the day
If the light stood out with a proud stance
I would never step into it
Because of the darkness that invited me to dance
