Chapter Six - I Will Make Myself At Home

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Okay. I'm all packed." I shut my suitcase and glanced back up at Jake, who was on his phone. I scanned the whole apartment; checking that I hadn't forgotten anything to pack.

"Okay." Jake shoved his phone in his pocket. "Let's get an uber and go to the team 10 house." Jake explained, for which I smiled without thinking. Am I more happy to move on than he is?

When we arrived at the house, my eyes widened at the ginormous mansion. I felt Jake looking at me and smiling so I took his hand; my eyes still glued to the house as I was fascinated by every detail.

Suddenly, I saw a huge Belgian Malinois running towards me. Without thinking I got onto my knees and began to stroke the dog. "This is Apollo." Jake exclaimed, "Seems like you've met him before... He-He recognises you..." He froze as I slowly lifted my head up.

"No... I have never seen this dog before." I threw him a 'what's wrong with you' look. He shook his head and gestured me to go inside. Apollo followed me inside as everybody stared at me.

"Jake. Why did you let her in?"
"WHY IS SHE IN HERE?"
"Oh my god. What is she doing here?"
"JAKE! I Thought you said you hated her!"

Reverberating voices filled my mind as I ran upstairs. The house was ten times bigger than the last team 10 house, and I had no idea where to go; therefore I ran wherever my feet took me.

In no time, I was on the highest floor; I could hear everyone bouncing up the stairs to come and see me. Or was it to humiliate me? Yep.

"Hey! Alissa! You can run but you can't hide! We're calling the cops!" I heard a voice shout which became clearer. It was Nick.

"N-No! I invited Alissa!" Jake shouted at the top of his lungs as the whole house was so silent; you could her a pin drop. "J-Just... Give her a chance!" Jake continued, bellowing. "You've scared her off well done..."

"I'll go see her." I heard Tessa say while running up the first few steps which soon became all of them. She was so fast at running...

When she came up to where I was, I backed away and opened my mouth to say something, but Tessa interrupted me.

"Alissa... It's okay. I don't mind you being here, just... I don't know. Make your self at home..." She patted me on the shoulder and forced a weak smile.

"Okay..." I muttered and smirked as she left, "I will make myself at home..."
