Chapter Eleven - Getting Out

"Oh my gosh." I looked down in shock. I can't be in a wheelchair for the rest of my life!
Jake patted me on the back comfortingly. "It's okay. You will get through this, I know you can."
It was nice too see him supporting me. I gave him a hug and then sighed.

                  Being in a wheelchair forever. That
                               must be lonely.

I woke up in my hospital bed and Jake was asleep in the visitors seat. Surprisingly he looked comfortable. He woke up with me staring at him.
"Hey..." He said. "Feeling any better?" He added.
"Uh I guess. I just wanna get out of here." I looked up at the ceiling.
Just then the nurse came in. This time it was a different nurse. He looked more professional, and sophisticated. I squinted my eyes and read his badge that his name was Nurse Stave.
"Hey, Alissa. How are you doing?" He smiled.
"Great actually." Deep down I couldn't actually tell if this was the truth or not.
"Okay, well here..." Stave looked down at the clipboard and then looked up. "It says your fit to go. Okay so if you'd like to follow me, I will show you your wheelchair. "Your husband and I will guide you to make sure you don't stumble."
"Husband?" Jake mouthed to me, silent laughing.

The wheelchair was nice. It was comfy and I liked being sat down and Jake pushing me everywhere. It was all less effort. But the trouble was, fans kept coming up to us, wanting to sign things of theirs. Of course, I didn't mind. It was just we kind of had to be at home and my back was aching because of having to lean over signing things.
When we got to Jake's house, I was about to say hi to everyone. Then I realised the whole reason I was in the hospital in the first place was because I fainted or something in Jake's house.

What was I going to say?
