Yesterdays events were close to bursting some peoples hearts, they all found it very difficult to come to terms with. None of the events made any real sense, how did it even happen? Why was Eddy so cruelly hurt in that way, he was a nice person he certainly did not disserve that. Eddy was now safe in hospital, he had to be kept in a comma to give his body chance to heal. He had lost at least three pints of blood during his ordeal, priority was given for a blood transfusion. Strong antibiotics had to also be given because of rats nasty evil bites, it had to stop any infection. All the nursing staff were shocked by everything they witnessed, but so caring, most went home upset that first night.
Police Sergeants, Detectives and many, many others went to work all with one goal, who is responsible for that trickery? A REMOTE CONTROLLED TREE, POISONED RATS and a MAN DRESSED UP LIKE A RAT. It was very cleverly done, but none of them had ever seen anything so cruel. The evilness of these people, all had to be found and put down into prison, for the rest of their lives. All sat in a police conference room, pens, note books to hand to start the long process of discovering the persons responsible.
Number one, interviews, starting with the highway agency workers, the hope was that someone had seen Rat Man's face so a police artist would be brought in, they wanted, needed to find him as soon as possible, no one else should get hurt in such a malicious way. where did he get his costume? All local costume supplier's had to be interviewed, do they have a rat costume, who rented it, dates and so on. As soon as the portrait artist had finished, a face will become a name. The detectives work would be so much quicker.
Number two, how did normal rats become so large? All rats had been bagged so now phrenic staff, could begin to dissect them and test blood to find the answer they were all looking for. This was possibly the worst, grouse job, you certainly need a strong stomach to do it. The police suspected that some sort of growth enhancement drug had been fed to them, if they were right, it would help in discovering the culprits. Where did such a drug come from, was it made to help people originally or by chance illegally?
Number three, back to the beginning, the tree. All the statements needed going over again, follow ups were to be done if necessary. They had put a twenty four, seven days a week surveillance on the tree, if it was clever mechanics, someone had spent an incredible amount of time and money to achieve it, but who was controlling it and why. So far all the surveillance had captured was, a cute rabbit hopping back and fourth. a squirrel coming down to bury its nuts, a hedgehog strolling along slowly and lots of crows flapping about noisily. If they had been filming for a wildlife programme, it would have been a great success.
Number four, the Eye in the Sky, what had been the issue with the heat censer, it should have been able to have picked up rat mans image, so he could be tracked. If that haven't failed, rat man would now be in custody, a rather depressing incident, when it could have been a great success. The engineers now had to find and repair the problem, as soon as possible, it may be needed again at any time.
