Sadness

Alrighty, this should be the easiest thing to help with. Of course, that doesn't mean its easy to deal with. Anyway, I think sadness is obviously common, it's inevitable and unavoidable. Things happen and thats just part of life, wether you like it or not.

I think a good way to fight sadness is to take care of yourself. Need to sleep? Do it. Stress eating? Go for it. Self care is just such a great thing, we're always looking out for other people and making sure they're okay, but it seems like we never realize that we are people too. I know this saying is common and you're probably tired of hearing it, but 'Take care of yourself before you take care of others' is such an important thing. Humans were made to be social, yes, but you can't take care of other if you can't take care of yourself. You should be the most important thing in your life.

Here is a list of things that could help you calm down
-Wrap yourself in blankets and have a hot drink
-A hot shower always helps
-Reading/Drawing/Writing, something creative to help take your mind off things
-Anything that makes you feel accomplished (cleaning, studying, etc)
-Debate with your friends (This could depend from person to person)
-Clean yourself up, wash your face, do your nails, etc
-Watch nature. The trees blowing in the wind, the birds taking off
-Listen to some calming music
-Meditating, its hard to calm the mind, but it helps
-Take a nap. Just let yourself relax
