~Early in the morning~

~To the palace~

Eclipse groaned when she heard knocking from her door, making her sit up from her bed eyes still droopy and hair sticking out from her head, looking like a bird's nest

"Who's-"

She yawned, hand covering her mouth

"-there...?"

"It's me Julian-"

Eclipse let out an annoyed groan as she plopped back down onto her beloved and comfy bed, her eyes, now, fully open and awake

"Julian... Why the heck did you wake me up this early..."

"Well, it's because we have to check Lucio if the fever rose or dropped"

Sighing, the amber eyed woman walked out of her bed and to the bathroom but not after giving the (annoying) doctor an "alright" but missed the amused chuckle that the red-head let out

- She will never change -

Was the last thought of Julian as he leaned onto the wall that was beside the door

~Time skip~

After controlling if her hair didn't look like a nest anymore, Eclipse walked out of her bedroom only to stop when her face comes in contact with a clothed stomach

"About time, my dear"

"Shut up..."

Julian chuckled as he walked beside the fuming (and blushing) woman while his eyes roamed the hallway with his grey eyes

"How was your sleep?"

"I was having a great dream until someone woke me up from it..."

"Oh really now? Well I'm sorry to hear that"

Eclipse narrowed her eyes at the smirking man as she crossed her arms
"Why do you keep on annoying me...? Did you turn it into a hobby or something?"

The smirk on the man's face disappeared as a faint blush appeared on his pale cheeks, his right hand rubbing the back of his head while his eyes avoided contact with hers

"Well..."

This confused the raven haired woman, just a minute ago the doctor was having a "great time" annoying her and now he's acting strange like... Being all flustered or embarrassed... But she pushed this thought aside when they finally arrived to the Count's chamber

Julian coughed onto his fist to calm down his blush and when it disappeared he knocked onto the door while Eclipse waited for the blond man to let them enter

"C-come in..."

Opening the door and walking inside, the woman closed the door behind her as she stopped beside the taller male

"Ahh, if it isn't my favourite doctors~"

"Good morning to you too, Count Lucio... How are you feeling?"

Said male hummed as he laid his head onto one of his cushions while his eyes remained onto the woman that was standing beside Julian

(A/N: one question guys... Were Lucio's eyes red when he didn't have the plague yet? Because I always thought that he had red eyes (not the sclera) since I haven't seen him without the plague thing)

"In pain... But still alive"

The Count smirked when Eclipse rolled her eyes while the corner of her lips quirked up a bit

"That is good to hear..."

"Has your fever risen?"

Lucio hummed in thought as he looked at the ceiling, pointer finger tapping his chin

"No... Not that I am aware of..."

The two doctors looked at each other and, as if they read the others' mind, nodded as Eclipse walked up to the bedridden male and placed her hand onto Lucio's while the other placed on her own

"Hmm... A tad bit warm... But not too much for us to extract some blood"

Pulling away, the amber eyed woman walked up to the bathroom to wash her hand so that the sickness wouldn't infect her too, leaving the two in an awkward silence

(Another A/N: I don't know if you touch a sick/infected person and not washing your hand will make you sick... So... Bear with me XD)

"..."

"You woke her up early for a reason, didn't you..."

Julian looked at the smirking man as he crossed his arms on his chest, a brow raising

"And what makes you think that?"

"Well, you two would come check up on me when it is 9 o'clock but it is only 7 o'clock"

The doctor hummed as he looked outside the window

"I did wake her up for a reason but i am not telling you anything... Plus, you are already married to Nadia"

Pouting, Lucio let his head fall back onto the cushion as he closed his eyes to block out the light that was stinging or irritating them

"I know that already... There's no need for you to remind me..."

"I will never stop reminding you"

"Reminding him what?"

The red-head turned to look at Eclipse that was drying her hands with a towel

"About him trying to sneak out to the garden"

After this statement, the amber eyed woman shot the Count a look that made said male to glare at Julian

"But do not worry, my dear, I'd make sure that he won't"

"Mmm... If you say so..."

"Mhm... We will be taking our leave now, alert us when you are in dire need of any assistance"

The blond only nodded as he watched the two walk out of the room while he closed his eyes again to try on sleeping again

~To the two doctors~

"Now that that's done"

Julian looked down at the woman that was stretching her arms

"We can continue on our research in the library"

"Mmm... Try on not annoying me this time though... Because we might lose some time just like in the past days"

The taller male only laughed as he placed his arm onto Eclipse's shoulders and pulled her to him, forcing a blush of embarrassment out of the shorter female

"I'll try but you are just too irresistible to tease! Most of all about that leech that I keep on my desk-"

"That I hope that you will stop pestering me about it"

The red-head only grinned at the woman as they made their way towards the library

Me: hello again! Hope you guys enjoyed this part because I enjoyed it! I only hope that Lucio and Jules weren't too out of character... *shrugs*

Fang: I hope that I'm in the next one because I am not happy with this one *crosses arms and pouts*

Me: yeah yeah but you do know that Julian is my favourite, yeah?

Fang: I don't care... Just write me in the me next part!

Me: fine fine, yeesh... Anyway, again, hope you all enjoyed! See you in the next part! Bye~!

Fang: *waves at you and grins*
