Chapter 12: Secret Surprises

Princess Peach and Mario left the library and headed over to the kitchen. As they were going up the stairs, the platform suddenly shook and Peach fell only to be held up by Mario's hand. He pulled her up to safety and hugged her. While Peach hugged back, she thought about all the times he had saved her and how she was not grateful enough for him saving her all the time. She remembered the ring in her phone case. For most of this adventure, she had been thinking about TEC and all the drama going on when she really wanted to enjoy being with Mario. In a way, she was a little relieved that TEC was gone and happy. Peach knew she loved Mario the most and she wanted to propose so bad. She decided that this would be the moment.

"Mario, can you come with me over to the secret garden?" Peach said. "Sure" Mario said. He had been thinking about how close he was to losing Peach. He wished he could spend more time with her, but he was always caught up on adventures. They arrived at the garden and went inside.

Peach kneels to the ground and says " Mario, I love you with all my heart. Despite everything we have went through, we have always come back to each other. Now I want you to be with me forever. Mario, will you marry me?" Peach said. "Yes Peach! I love you for now and forever!" Mario said and kissed Peach. They put rings onto each other's fingers and announced it to everyone.

Meanwhile Daisy and Luigi were led out of the forest by the boo. "Thank you for helping us" Daisy said. "I hope you guys get to where you want to." The boo said grinning. They made it to an old mansion. Daisy received a text from Peach about the letters and the engagement. "Hey Luigi, looks like Mario and Peach are engaged. I bet they will be surprised when they find out about our secret engagement." Daisy said. "Yeah, I bet it will shock them. Since they have gotten to Rosalina, why don't we stop at this Mansion and rest? Mario had told me that a boo named Lady Bow owned the Mansion and said we could stay." Luigi said. "Sure, we could have fun in another Mansion. And we could go shopping later for supplies since we have the boo some of our stuff as souvenirs." Daisy said. They went into the Mansion and Daisy smiled as she saw all of the boos. Luigi however seemed a little paranoid since most of his ghost experiences ended up with him battling them. They picked out a nice room to put their stuff in and then went up the stairs to see Lady Bow.
