Moving to a new town with two foster parents that were soon to take you in clouded all of your current thoughts. Your parents had died in a bad fire at a famous Derry meat company that delivered some of the best meats in town.

You didn't even get to say goodbye to them and the fact that they had an argument with you before they passed, wasn't much easier.

The car pulled up to a house that seemed out of date compared to the rest of the surrounding houses and an old man and woman stood outside, waving at the car that contained you inside.

The driver turned around to face you and give you one last talk before you left him for good.

"Just be careful because they may look nice on the outside but you never know if they're actually devils on earth."

You nodded, mumbling something about 'alien invasion' to yourself and climbing carelessly out of the car. The driver nodded one last time at you before pulling out and rumbling down the roads of Derry.

"Hello, you must be ___!" The old woman smiled as she stuck out an arm to embrace you. She wore an old sweater that had several holes in the sleeves with a long, pencil skirt that seemed faded like the dried leaves on the concrete. Two different shoes were on her feet with knee high, dirty white socks covered her legs.

You remembered what the driver said and decided to stay on their good side. "That's me." You said, trying to sound somewhat happy with the new life you had been tossed into without an option.

The old woman smelled of apple pies and fresh baked cookies which was a good sign seeing as you ate more than anything but never gained much weight. The old man greeted you next and he wore an older sweater that looked to be in better condition than the woman's. Two correct shoes fitted his feet and his socks seemed to be at a reasonable length. His pants, however, barely touch the bottom of his ankle.

A pair of red suspenders above his sweater stood out like a sore thumb as he pulled you in for a hug. "Hi, we're so excited to have you here!"

You smiled back, forcing it, but hopefully they couldn't see that. They didn't because they turned around and began to lead you inside the house, giving you a tour of the small, dated home and showed you your bedroom last.

"Here it is. It might be a little small but it's the best we can do." The woman smiled, looking around at the small room in front of you. Anything that could give you protection away from bullies was something you greatly accepted and cherished dearly.

"I-It's wonderful." You stuttered out, a smile painting your lips and this was the first time it was genuine.

"Make yourself comfortable and I'll be making dinner in the kitchen if you need anything." You returned with a small nod, still observing the used, but loved, room.

You set your bag down beside the bed and immediately sat on it, checking out how soft and cushioned it was. It didn't seem to be in the best condition but better condition than nothing at all.

Your home was nice, the foster parents were good, and felt at home. Now, all you had to do was survive an entire school year alone.

The Derry school hallways were very crowded with kids being shoved in lockers, some being physically hurt by fists, and kids shoving past each other.

Minding your own business, you walked down the hallway and past kids that were being beat up to get to your next class that started soon but a hand pulled you towards them and stopped your plan.

"What a pretty one I've caught." A guy with a mullet said, a smirk on his lips and two other guys standing along side him with the same expression on their faces.

"I want her first. Then, you can go." The mullet one said, leaning closer to you. His breath reeked of cigarettes and the smell of something that died and had been rotting for several days. You leaned back out of instinct and felt something sharp up against your stomach.

"Don't move or I will." The mullet one said, staring you deep into your eyes. You tried not to show any fear because in all honesty, you were a full on badass that all the guys had been attracted to but this was a new town with new rules and a new set of players. You couldn't just play the old game like you knew what was coming next because you didn't.

You knew that keeping quiet right now would probably be your best option at life right now. You didn't want to die in school, especially a new one where no one would know who you were if you were chopped up into multiple pieces. You would be an unidentified body and there wouldn't be a funeral because you had no friends.

"What's your name." One behind the mullet said. You didn't speak but looked away from him and at a passing teacher who kept his eyes on a sheet of paper while sipping his coffee. "Answer the damn question."

"_-___." You stuttered out, desperate eyes trying to catch any passing student willing to save you from whoever the hell this was. No one even glanced over.

"You a virgin?" He asked, pressing the knife closer on your stomach, a pit of fear forming in your stomach like a black hole that was sucking out all hope you had left.

You didn't want to be raped, and you never had been touched like this before so you knew you had gotten thrown into some deep shit. "Y-Yes." You stuttered our once more.

"Well, I guess we'll have to change that won't we?" The mullet one said, grabbing you by the arm tightly and pulling you out of the building which was now only a few trickling students because the late bell had already rung.

You tried to wriggle out of his grasp but the two behind him pushed you forward with him, forcing you to keep up or be killed.

Your first day at school and you were already about to be raped. What a great start to the school year. "I never got your name." You managed out as you were being dragged along unfamiliar streets in Derry, away from the school, clearly.

"Bowers." The mullet one said, not saying anything else before shoving you into an alley way a good distance from the school. You stumbled backwards, catching your balance before you fell.

"Alright, virgin, let's teach you a lesson on not stopping in the hallways." Bowers said, beginning to walk closer to you with a knife and ready to strip.

You urgently looked around for an escape route but the walls of the buildings were too high to climb and even if they could be climbed, there were no solid footholds.

You turned back to a now shirtless Bowers, the knife flicked out to where the light turned it into a dangerous weapon, more than it was, with a shadow that represented the face of death.

Your breathing quickened as you kept searching for a way out but the only way was through Bowers. All badass aspects had been sucked out of you. All hope had been drained from your mind as you began to give in.

As soon as you gave up, someone's voice rang out into the alleyway. "B-Bowers, l-leave her alone."
