The day had started out rainy, with small showers starting in the early morning as it dripped down leaves and onto the soft, muddy ground outside while you sat inside, lamp on, reading one of your favorite books early in the morning while your mother slept down the hallway.

You never wanted anything to happen to your family but so much had occurred in the past year with your dad leaving to your sister suddenly disappearing. The next thing you needed was another accident that was uncontrollable.

The phone suddenly rang downstairs, jolting you from the bed and running quickly down the stairs out of curiosity of who would be calling at such an hour.

Your hand picked up the phone quickly as you placed the receiver to your ear, listening for someone to say something on the other line.

"H-Hey, ___." You suddenly heard the voice of your boyfriend, Bill Denbrough, whispering on the other line of the phone. Your heart immediately softened as you sat down on the counter, trying to keep your voice level low so your mom wouldn't be able to hear.

"Hey, Bill. Is there a problem?" You asked, a little concerned. It was a rainy night so staying on the phone all night wouldn't be an option because there might be a surge in the electricity and you weren't about to explain that to your mom.

There was a pause.

"Cuh-Can you cuh-come over?" He stuttered our softly as your eyes glanced towards the storm brewing outside. You let out a sigh on the other end of the line from where he could hear.

"Bill." You began, softly. There was a small roll of thunder outside as you scooted closer towards the wall to be away from the windows. "It's storming outside."

Now it was his turn to sigh as you kept your eyes focused on the dark storm clouds that you could see the shape of outside in the darkness of the early morning in Derry, Maine.

"Puh-Please?" He begged.

You took one last glance towards the window before agreeing. "Fine, but you better have your window unlocked when I arrive."

With those words, you hung up and quietly made your way back to your room to get dressed in goulashes and a raincoat with a hood.

You took one last glance outside while scribbling down a messy note but explained where you had gone off to in case you weren't back by morning.

Thunder drummed softly outside while the tapping of the rain on the window calmed your nerves.

You knocked on the window softly to be greeted by Bill who was wearing pajamas that seemed a little too small for him but you only smiled to see him waiting up for you to get there.

Upon opening the window, you climbed inside and stripped out of the wet raincoat and goulashes and set them in the corner of the room where they could dry without being seen.

"You're lucky I love you, Denbrough, or I wouldn't of gone out in this type of storm." You smiled up at him as he lightly coughed into his elbow.

You frowned. "Are you sick?"

"I huh-had to s-see you." He explained, looking down at you with soft eyes as you stared up at them, smiling after a few seconds of staring.

"Billy?" You heard the small voice of Bill's little brother, Georgie, ringing outside of his shut door. You turned to Bill who looked hesitant to open it considering you were here.

"Come on, Bill. Georgie loves me!" You exclaimed softly as you heard him knock softly on the door.

He looked back down at you as you stared up at him with those shining orbs of yours, finally agreeing to what you both wanted. He opened the door quietly as Georgie walked inside, starting to speak but stopping when he saw you.

"Billy, is that ___?" He questioned as you only smiled at Bill, urging him on to answer while you kept the soft, deer eyes.

"Yuh-Yeah, Georgie. It i-is."

You saw Georgie suddenly running towards you and climbing into your arms as you smiled at the little boy, a cheerful look on your face. "Hey, ___." He spoke softly.

You giggled a little. "Hey, Georgie."

He smiled up at you while you stared over at Bill who couldn't help but smile back. The room felt light, even with the heavy rain outside.

"H-Hey, Georgie?" You heard Bill ask softly as he turned towards him from in your arms. You smiled over at your boyfriend who was one of the best people ever, no matter what dirty minded things Richie said about him.

"Cuh-Can I spend s-some time with muh-my girlfriend?" He asked, sweetly. Georgie grew a little disappointed but agreed, giving you one last hug before leaving to go back to sleep.

When he left, you saw Bill sit down in front of you, a warm, gleaming smile on his face despite the cold weather outside. He scooted closer to you, his hand reaching for yours but you instead crawled yourself into his lap, snuggling your head close to his neck as you pressed a light kiss to his jaw.

You couldn't see it but you could feel the heat in his face. You knew what his weaknesses were and you had already done four of them. His biggest one was anytime you kissed him, but especially on his jaw.

"Y-You know, i-if R-R-Richie Could s-see us right n-now, he'd be a-all over y-you." Bill said softly into your ear, making you laugh.

"Too bad he isn't dating me." You responded, sighing contently as lightning cracked outside but it didn't faze you. You were in the arms of your boyfriend, and that's all that really mattered to you.

You must've fallen asleep because when you awoke, the rain was still falling but Bill was nowhere to be found and you were in his bed, still in your short, cropped shirt and leggings.

You yawned, climbing out of the bed sleepily and began looking around for Bill who was nowhere to be found in his room but you just smiled, looking over at his open closet.

There were nicer shirts, many upon many baseball tees, and then some of his comfier clothes that he never told anyone about until you showed up somewhere wearing them.

Your fingers gripped the fabric on a dark grey sweatshirt before you took it off the hanger and slipped it on over your cropped shirt and black leggings, the sleeves coming down past your fingers and making you smile contently.

The door opened to his bedroom as you turned to face whoever walked inside.

"Morning, Denbrough." You said, pulling him towards you as you buried your head in his chest.

"Wuh-Why do you kuh-keep stealing muh-my clothes?" He asked, giving you a look as you stepped back, sweater paws on your hips.

"What? Would you rather me steal Richie's shirts?" You questioned, cocking a brow as he immediately shook his head, coughing softly.

"Nuh-No."

You laughed, watching as the door opened and Georgie walked in with a grin of hope on his face.

"What is it, Georgie?" You asked as Bill turned to face him.

"Can you make me a paper boat?"
