So here is chapter 4, all nice and ready to read. I mentioned in chapter 3 that Katy had a detention but in the chapter, the teacher isn't in school aka Mr Tarfey and the supply, Mr Adams doesn't know that so Katy is let off free. That solves it. This is the first chapter I've wrote on Microsoft Word by the way because I might start pre writing chapters incase I'm ill or on holiday or am really busy. Enjoy! Fan, comment and vote. This is starts when Katy gets home to change into her clothes to go to town with Jade. This chapter is longer than the previous ones.

The rest of the journey home was silent for once but I couldn’t help wonder what happened between Jade and Niall. Did they have -? Wait get that out of your head Katy, Jade wouldn’t do that yet if they were dating. She’d leave it till the third date or third week of dating. I pushed away any thoughts and grabbed my keys and opened the door. No one was at home so I slumped my bag on the couch and ran upstairs to get dressed.

“Hmm, what to wear?” I asked myself, peering through my wardrobe. It was a mess, it seriously needed clearing. It took me ten minutes to pick an outfit and even I had my doubts. It was a navy blue sleeveless dress which came up above the knees and I decided to team it up with my black flats. I straightened my hair since I had no time this morning and applied some foundation to my skin. I didn’t want to go all out on the makeup so just dabbed some mascara on and grabbed my phone and rushed downstairs. It was still quiet downstairs. Maybe Mum and Dad went out for dinner? I grabbed my bag off the couch and walked out, texting Jade that I was on my way to her house.

It was a simple five minute walk, we lived two streets away but because of some noisy dog it took longer since I had to take the longer path through the alley ways. I hated it but had to get on with it.

I arrived at her porch where her mum was pulling out some weeds.

“Hi Marie,” I smiled as she opened the front door. She called me family and I found it sweet. I called her by her first name since she insisted.

“Jade, I’m ‘ere!”  I shouted through the hallway. I gathered that she was still getting ready so I wondered off to the sitting room where Michael and Damian were sat, playing FIFA 11.

“That’s old news!” I rolled my eyes at the video game they were playing.

“Mum doesn’t let us buy the new one when it’s first out since it’s expensive so we wait a year later,” Damian cried as he switched off the PlayStation 3. The brothers walked off into the conservatory leaving me alone.

I picked up one of the pictures on the mantelpiece and scanned it instantly. It was of Jade and her dad, the last picture they ever had together. When he died, Jade’s world crashed down and she wasn’t in school for a while.

“Ready?” I heard a voice asked. It was Jade so I placed the picture back and walked outside for Jade.

We were gonna hit the town large. Actually we were just gonna walk through the shops, see what we liked.

We grabbed the first bus into town and made our way through the shops. Primark, Topshop, Claire’s, Subway, McDonald’s, everything really.

We first went into New Look, where they had a half price sale on. We stumbled upon a cute black dress with a pink belt to separate the top half to the bottom half. I was first to try it on while Jade waited patiently. I untwisted the bolt on the door and walked out to the mirror.

“Wow!” She smiled as I twirled around. Then my phone beeped.

Waiting for you in Nando’s. Lou x
