Chapter 6: Admitting
~Ash's POV~
I carefully stood,and I felt my eyes start to water. I smiled and I hugged Pidge tight,just glad by the fact that she accepted me. She was the first person I told my secret to.
I couldn't help but laugh a bit as I pulled back. I rubbed the back of my neck and glanced at my feet,before asking "hey Pidge?"
"Yeah? What is it?" She asked as she stood straight. She smiled and lightly laughed,placing her hand on my shoulder.
"Can you stand next to me when I tell Keith and Lance?" I looked back up at her,meeting her eyes. They were full of both excitement and happiness.
"Of course I can Ash!" She playfully punched my arm. I then smiled,nodded,and took her hand,leading her back into the room. She didn't question me,but just nodded and followed. I stood in the middle of the room,gripping her hand in mine,my journal clutched tightly in my freehand. I stomped my foot twice to get everyone's attention.
"I have something to tell you." I looked straight at my two fathers,still keeping close to Katie.
I took a deep breath and started to explain everything to them. Every detail,from beginning to end.
~Keith's POV~
All I could do was watch Ash as he explained everything. How he was originally born a female,how he is a transgender male,and how he is gay. How he grew up in an orphanage for his life,and how he looked up to us five Voltron paladins. I looked to Pidge,and we locked eyes for a moment. I then looked at Lance,who was actually serious for once. But after Ash finished talking,Lance looked to me,and we both couldn't help but smile.
I walked up to Ash and pulled him into a hug,which was new to me. "You didn't have to be afraid to tell us,you know."
"Yeah,we are going to support you no matter what!" Lance joined me in the hug. Then I felt the arms of Pidge wrapped around Ash the tightest,and I heard Shiro laughing in the background.
When we all pulled back,Ash had tears streaming down his face. He smiled as he laughed,closing his eyes as he hugged his arms.
"Thank you guys" he whispered,sniffing as he couldn't stop himself. He was crying from joy...
"I can't express to you how happy I am to hear you say that."
