~Chapter 7: Fights~
~A Week Later~
~Ash's POV~
I sat in the corner if my room, hugging my knees tight. I kept my eyes closed, allowing a few of my tears to escape my eyes. I buried my head between my legs, placing my hands over my ears as I tried to calm my breathing. Shaking and hyperventilating,I could barely say a word as I listened to the yelling from the other room.
"Stop...p-please stop..." I whispered, choking on my tears as I started to cough. I tried to control my breaths, but it eventually turned into quiet sobbing. I hugged my knees as I leaned my head back, looking at my ceiling with blurry vision. "Please...d-don't f-fight..."
I pushed myself up off of the ground, but immediately collapsed back into my sitting position. I watched the blood run down my legs and stain the carpet on the floor, then I looked to the small pocket knife hidden under my bed. I pulled down my pant legs and forced myself to stand, keeping a hand against the wall for balance. Ignoring the blood,I stumbled over to the door, though I couldn't help but whimper in pain. I grabbed hold of my door handle before I could fall, and I slowly but carefully turned it. I felt in my back pocket and was relieved to feel my journal there.
I opened the door and slipped out, just to be met with Keith and Lance bickering back and forth with each other. I started to cry again as I walked as fast as I could over to the two,and I stepped in between them. They instantly fell silent and looked at me,a bit shocked by my sudden appearance.
"Stop it you two!" I cried, wiping away some of my hot tears. Keith's eyes widened and Lance took a small step back in shock. I couldn't hold myself up any longer, and I would have fell if Lance didn't catch me. My vision faded in and out,and soon all I saw was darkness.
~Lance's POV~
"Woah,Ash!" I ran forward and caught him in my arms, sitting on my knees as I carefully layed him down. I used my thumb to brush away his remaining tears, and I immediately felt guilt.
Keith took another step back before turning away "oh god" he muttered, and that's when I saw the fresh blood running down Ash's legs.

(And I return! I'm sorry that this chapter is a bit darker compared to the others, but I had this idea since the very start of the fanfic, and I decided to just go with it! I hope the warning at the top will be able to slightly prepare people for what they're gonna read, even if it isn't as bad as some fanfics I have read before...)
