'Hey Noah!' Millie yelled. Noah turned and waited patiently for her to catch up. 'Gaten, Caleb, Sadie and Finn are staying over at my house tonight, can you come as well?' She asked, I smiled widely and nodded.
'Yes! Thanks Millie!' He said hugging her, but quickly pulled away blushing. He could of sworn he saw her cheeks tint pink. She smiled again,
'No problem, meet at my house at 4:30?' She asked.
'Sure! See you there' he confirmed. She nodded and walked away smiling. As Noah turned to walk the other way his cheeks turned into a deep red shade. He felt a tap on his shoulder as Finn caught up with him.
'What was that about?' He asked curiously.
'Oh nothing. Just that sleepover.' Noah answered, looking away so Finn couldn't see him blushing. Finn stayed silent until...
'You like her.' He said simply.
"What!? No I don't! Why would you think that?' Noah almost yelled.
'Ok, first, you blush like a tomato whenever you talk to her. Two you never stop smiling in her presents and three you can't keep your eyes off her!' Finn listed off. Noah attempted to protest but realised there was no point and gave in.
'Fine, I like her! Promise you won't tell anyone?' Noah pleaded. Finn nodded
'Promise'.
At 4:30...
Millie stumbled around her house gathering mattresses and sleeping bags when there was a knock at the door. She dropped the stuff on the floor and ran to the front door. She opened it to see Noah looking extremely excited. He looked so adorable she just wanted to hug him right then and there. She shook that thought out of her head with a slight blush and stepped aside to let Noah in.
'Hey Millie' He said.
'Hi Noah! Just put your stuff over there.' She pointed to a wall. Noah made his way over with Millie following close behind.
'So, where are your parents?' Noah asked.
'Oh they are out with my siblings for the night and they said I could have a sleepover as long as we behave ourselves' She explained. Noah nodded.
'So could you help me get these upstairs?' Millie asked gesturing to the mattresses' and sleeping bags.
'Sure!' Noah said brightly and grabbed two sleeping bags. Millie grabbed one as well and they made their way up stairs.
'Three people can have sleeping bags, one person can have a mattress and two people can share a bigger mattress' Millie said once they lay down the sleeping bags. She blushed at the thought of sharing with Noah but then realised she'd probably share with Sadie.
'Ok' Noah said, blushing a bit, obviously thinking the same thing.
'Lets go try to get those mattresses up here' Millie giggled. They ran downstairs and grabbed the small mattress and carefully dragged it up the stairs. They ran back downstairs to get the bigger one. Because of its size it took a lot longer. They kept tripping, laughing and tripping again. When they got to the top, Noah tripped and lost his balance, and fell onto the mattress which made Millie fall as well and then they started whizzing down the stairs and top speed on the mattress.
'Noah!' Millie laughed.
'Ahhhh' Was his reply. They got to the bottom and tumbled off the mattress onto each other. Millie, who had squeezed her eyes shut, opened them to find Noah on top of her, three inches away. His big soft brown eyes peering into hers.
'Your eyes are pretty' She said without thinking. Her cheeks turned a thousand shades of red.
'Yours are too' Noah said smiling, but also blushing. Millie didn't know how or when it happened but Noah had leaned down and softly kissed her, immediately she kissed back. When Noah pulled away, blushing as well he rested his head against hers and stared into her eyes. Suddenly there was a knock on the door and they jumped apart. Millie got up and opened it to reveal, Finn Caleb, Sadie and Gaten smirking at her, and for some reason, Millie could tell they were watching through the window.
'Shut up' She mumbled as they started laughing.
