Sadie was getting more nervous by the minute. She didn't know if she 'like' liked Caleb but she was pretty sure she did and almost 100% sure Caleb didn't like her. She was freaking out because they were filming the snowball dance Lumax kiss scene.
'Sadie, Caleb start dancing' One of the Duffer brothers called out to them. Sadie nervously wrapped her arms around Caleb and he wrapped his around her waist. He must of felt her shaking because he whispered.
'Hey, it's ok, its just Lucas and Max'. Sadie nodded, a bit disappointed but realised it was silly of her to think this kiss could mean more to them in real life. They started swaying to the music,
'When your ready Caleb' The Duffer called. Sadie took a shaky breath as Caleb leaned in and kissed her quickly before pulling away.
'Cut! Sadie we need a bigger reaction.' He said.
'Can I just have a minute?' She quietly asked. He looked at her in surprise before nodding in understanding. She ran out of the building and into the cool evening breeze. She sat down and took a few deep breaths. She knew something for sure. She liked Caleb, in the 'like' like way. She heard footsteps behind her and whipped around. Caleb.
'Hey, you ok?' He asked. She almost shook her head but quickly said
'yeah' instead. Caleb sat down next to her.
'We don't have to do it if you don't want to' He said.
'No, its not that I don't want to, I do its just,' Her eyes widened as she realised what she said.
'Its not real?' Caleb offered she looked at him in surprise.
'How did yo-' She started to say but he cut her off
'Sadie, I know how you feel, its not that hard to notice' He smiled and playfully nudged her.
'oh' Sadie looked down and blushed.
'But that's what I wanted to talk to you about, I think I like you too' He admitted.
'Then you know why I felt nervous doing the scene, because, it's ah...' She tried to put it into words.
'Not the same' He tried.
'Kinda, its them, you know? Lucas and Max, not Caleb and Sadie' She finished her sentence.
'But this is' Caleb whispered, Sadie only had to turn around and she felt his lips crashing onto hers. She gasped but kissed back, unfortunately it ended almost as soon as it started. 'Lets go finish that scene' Caleb said and Sadie nodded in agreement.
'When your ready' The director said for the second time that evening. But Instead of Lucas kissing Max, it was Max who leaned up and kissed Lucas.
'And Cut, great job guys, that was great' He said as her watched the tape. Caleb and Sadie smiled and said goodbye to everyone before making their way to their parents to be driven home.
