Chapter 3 : Welcome Home

As soon as I gotten home i was welcomed by my parents.
" where have you been young laddie"my mother stared hard at my face .
" sorry I was at the mall with Austin and Luke " I started biting my lip.
" yea? Well where's Austin "
Shit shit shit I have to cover or els Austin won't help with the whole luke hook up thing . My parents don't really know he goes to party's and girls houses . They think he really does go to some stupid ' study group' yeah good one .
" uh study group he didn't tell you? I dropped him off on the way back home " I lied straight threw my teeth .
" okay ,but you know how we feel about you two missing dinner we had to wait 2 hours and now the foods cold " my dad walked me in to the kitchen while my mom walked behind him as well.
" yeah I know dad , ill tell austin to get home as soon as he can"
Dad just nodded his head and began to heat up dinner .
Pulling out my phone I texted austin

' You better get your ass home ! Mom and dad have been waiting to eat dinner p.s when you come back the story is you were at study group got it !!'

' stop being up my ass. I'm on my way . Anyway thanks for covering me '

I rolled my eyes I shouldn't cover him anymore.

My father finished heating the food mmmm home made mashed potatoes with a side of stake .I'm loving the white people food .

Mom and Dad like the idea of eating as a family. I don't know why ? We just always have to be here and make sure we eat together and talk about our day and such.
I don't understand why can't we just be normal and eat where ever

Just as mom was setting the plates down In front of me and dad Austin walked in . Black hair messed up eyes a little low and I looked hard but no smile was found .

" Austin try not to stay out so late ." My mom pleaded . While dad agreed .
" sorry we have a big history test coming up and I had to stay extra time because when I was sick on Monday I messed a whole lesson " he was lying straight threw his teeth though he did skip Monday it wasn't because he was sick it was because he and his friends went to go to a senior party.
He was great at lying always has been .
He gave mom a kiss on the check and mom smiled
While Austin sat down and a terrible aroma of alcohol , smoke, and a stench that was all to familiar . Weed .
This isn't the first time he's came home all knocked up on weed and alcohol . I just wonder how my mother never noticed maybe she did she just felt as if she would brake and fall if she tried to say anything .
Because though we seem like a happy family we aren't me and Austin fight a lot mom acts like we don't hear it but dads always abusing her when they get into fights she tries to hold back the tears and I can't exactly tell why she put up with dad . He's and ass but I still respect him .
We ate in silence with a few questions from mom and dad asking about our new school .
As soon as we finished I washed the plates helped mother clean the kitchen and I headed up stairs .
Closing my door I the pulled out my lap top and logged in to Skype.

" you little bitch you haven't answered in years " she laughed her blond hair looked like it was just pulled out of a braid and was wavy . She grew it to where her stomach stops we vowed to never cut our hair when we where in 3rd grade now look at us juniors and haven't cut our hair .
I haven't seen her in a year now .I have moved twice since I last saw her but that didn't stop us from showing out love .

" hey hey sorry I know I know it's just been really hectic" I signed

" aww tell Hanna all about it " she said gesturing towards her self .

" it's been already two months and everybody still hates me . " I signed again " but Austin is mr.popular like always. "I rolled my eyes

" awww that sucks boo thing "she frowned " but isn't that school good for soccer " she smiled
I'd had always loved soccer , and was voted team captains 3 years in a row. For a few different schools

" yea that's the only good thing about this place " I laughed a little

" yeah but boo think about it you get voted team caption and boom that'll get you well known around school "

" true true " I nodded "soccer try out are next week" i said going in to more thought about this and then remembering that Luke was on the boys soccer team and was team captain . That could always work . I grinned to myself .

"Okay so off that topic now tell me and cuties she puckered her lips and flipped her hair causing us both to laugh .

" yea .. Luke .. Luke Hemmings " I blushed .

" oh lord can I please get a face with that beautiful name ."

She smiled and then I Hurd typing
" holy mother freaking jelly hole !!!! He is H-O-T hot . Holy crap "

I Hurd a knock on my door
"Come in " and in walked my mother pocking her head in .
" hey bunny time for bed " she then entered the room fully .
And she gave me a kiss on the head

" hello Hanna" my mother greeted Hanna threw the computer screen .

Hanna smiled " hello mrs. Vince"
Hanna waved

"Okay if you excuse Dana she has to get going to bed and please tell your mother I said hello for me .okay ?"

" will do okay byeee Dana night. Night" she blew a kiss from the screen .

Changing into shorts and my mom turned off the light in my room i then fell a sleep legs speed out and my long brown hair laid out across the pillow.
