" Mom I meeting up with Hannah at five points" I know I lied, but she would have never let me out knowing a guy was here to pick me up.
" don't be late to dinner!" She yells back
Just as I walk out the door and into the car And it's awkward. It's so awkward. I feel like walking back inside and telling my mom Hannah canceled.

I had just noticed I'd been in the car with him for more than ten minutes and had no I dead where we were headed.

I nod my head. Hopefully I'll survive to get back home for dinner.
