Virgil's Pov

"Who are you? You're looking like a stranger"

"No, verge, don't do this to me"

"You were once my lover and my savior"

"I still love you, god dammit, it's not like I wanted to"

"Whatever, you gotta sleep, hun"

"I can't. The pills don't work and I've tried counting sheep, but it still hurts like hell"

"Verge for me"

"You don't care, who replaced you're heart with a rock?"

"How many times do I have to tell you it's for your own good?"

"I know, I effin' know. That doesn't make it better"

"I'm sorry, but it hurts me too god dammit. I had you, but now I'm left with nothing but your makeup on my pillow"

"Then why don't you stay?!"

"I want to, but I can't. No matter how much I want to, you're no longer depressed. I am depression. You don't have me anymore"

He left. Tears in our eyes. Hearts shattered. Crying ourselves to sleep

-time skip to . . . the next morning-

"Come on anx, you gotta get up" (a/n get up anxy boy the word has left you lying on the ground)

"Waking up just brings me down, 'cause in the morning you're nowhere to be found. My bed is half empty, half full"

"Well, I would rather live with broken bones then lay here all on my own, like a lovesick fool" He goes to leave

"Where are you going? You said you'd never leave me. All alone, my hearts barely beating"

"Well, instead of broken bones, I got a broken heart. I'm not the same, its like something's missing"

"Well, then find someone. Fill the hole in your heart"

"Sorry, I was to busy taking care of you"

"No, this has to stop. This is the problem"

"What?"

"You have to stop caring, you have to forget. You have to move on"

"Verge ..."

"You caring about me is what caused this to begin with. Stop being so god damn loving, you're depression for god sake"

"I know, I failed at doing my job"

"Well, you work for me and I order you to go fall in love with someone else"

"Sure thing boss, but ..."

"What?"

"You promised me something too"

"What? this 180 of emotions is making my head spin"

"You promised me you would let princey in. Let him take care of you. Let him replace me"

"No one could ever replace you"
